You don't have to. Just set the sliders to give all of the money to charity.

Fanatical - Kingslayer Bundle - $4.99

https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/...

Oxenfree
Styx: Shards of Darkness
KOTOR
KOTOR II
SW: Force Unleashed
Age of Decadence
King of Fighters XIII
Metal Slug X
Sim City 4 Delux
Shadowrun: Hong Kong

I think I am going to bite for:
KOTOR 1+2
Sim City 4 delux
and perhaps Styx

Keep an eye out for Age of Decadence too.

It's got a really strong word of mouth rep with crpg fans.

Oxenfree is awesome

That bundle kicks ass! Dang.

Just spotted Battlefield 5 PC for 50% off. This seems to only be available via the Origin client main Home screen. It doesn't show up under deals, of even if you go to the game itself to buy.

Really tempted. Been thoroughly enjoying BF1 since I picked it up dirty cheap a few months ago. Anyone have any disuasion at that price?

I played through it about 3 times. It's an amazing game.

Oh, great. Another site offering fantastic, or even fanatical, deals on sweet games.

*sigh*

Life is rich and full.

If you missed out on the cheap SteamLink and own a Raspberry Pi 3 you can now officially install SteamLink on that. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m reading positive responses. Still wish I had picked up a cheap SteamLink myself.

(Psst -- Fanatical is the new name of Bundle Stars. They are, as before, a class act.)

Was there a code or something? I logged in and have every BF game except BF1 but I don't see that deal?

EDIT: Just read that you have to have either BF1 or BF4 installed to get it to pop up. Seems silly as it's in my library but I'll try installing BF4 and see if it works.

It vanished for me after seeing it last night. Reddit (twitter, etc) are full of tales of some people seeing the offer, others not, with seemingly no relation as to who does or doesn't.

Really wish I'd just bought it last night, but I saw it literally as the last thing before I turned off my PC and went to bed for the night, figuring I'd buy it today..

I even tried installing the Origin client on my laptop at work, and then installing BF1 to see if it would appear... nothing. Apparently this deal is much easier to get on console, so i'm not sure why it's being so troublesome on PC.

I have a small peanut of a hope that my Origin client on my PC at home will still show it one I get home, but ultimately I should've just grabbed it last night. Literally a case of You snooze you lose.

Not a huge issue though, very rarely do games reach a price point that the never return to....

I missed it, too. Have BF1 installed. Don't see it.

Maybe they received enough sales from the discount to meet their quota.

It's even more broken.

I can get the deal to appear in the store on Firefox, but not Chrome, and not in the Origin client. However, it gives me a 400 bad response error when I try to buy it. So close..

Following a tip from someone on reddit, you can dig in a bit... IF you manage to get the deal to show on a web page.. Hit F12 to enable dev/debug mode on the browser page. Then press Shift+F to start a search, and search for 'promo'. Doing this I see a line in the HTML that says:

description="Seasoned soldiers can charge the frontline for less" ocd-path="/battlefield/battlefield-v/standard-edition" promo-code="9FJA-9CBM-LYTS-WJX9-JQWZ" promo-legal-id="bfvexclusivedec5-7"

Reports from other users say applying this code at checkout worked, but it doesn't for me..

Why is this so broken, EA?

Company of Heroes 2 is free on Steam at the moment. Really good series that approaches RTS in an interesting way. It's the first series I've played where flanking and cover really worked. Highly recommended (though the first was better IMHO -- updates may have changed that).

Nintendo has a sale connected to TGA: "Save up to 50% on select digital titles for Nintendo Switch including nominated games and more"
https://www.nintendo.com/games/sales-and-deals/
[edit:] I see this has already been brought up in the Switch games thread...

Loved Demigod. Pity it's not really that fun offline and the support... Was there any support for the game?

Sure, they tried to fix the servers and that was about it. Game tanked for em, I believe.

Well if I remember correctly, they seemingly put zero effort into network stability and security, and they we're pirated to hell on release. So they had poor sales and a sh*tty experience for those who did pay, like me.

Demigod's gameplay doesn't hold up well either. HotS and SMITE have spoiled me with their streamlining and amount of heroes to play. (probably 5-6x the amount of heroes in those modern games)
I actually loved the offline play. It just wasn't something that held my attention for more than a month. But that was well worth the price.
I will admit that the castle golem character is incredibly awesome, wholly original, and has yet to be duplicated. I would play a MOBA centered around that golem play style in a heartbeat. You could easily take that core style and either mix and match appendages to customize your golem or you could create new golems based on structure themes (galleon, stained glass cathedral, adobe/tile huts, mayan/incan/aztec pyramids, coral/Atlantis, Greek/Parthenon)

BFV is 40% off. The previous veteran discount seems to have disappear.

I just can't decide if I want to buy it, or grab a year of Premium as I want Anthem as well.

On the 12th gamestop will have a few psvr bundles deal.
Astro Bot and Moss $200
Borderlands 2 VR and Beat Saber $249
Creed the game and Superhot VR $249

I don't know why bot and moss is $49 cheaper but they all come with the headset, controllers, and camera. Oh wait bot & moss doesn't come with the controllers.

At that price I almost don’t care that PSVR is terrible.

Spoiler:

I owned one for about fifteen minutes, which is how long it took for the system to make my eyes think that the whole world lurched three feet to the left and made me feel like I was going to throw up for the rest of the day.

My biggest fear, and also why I haven't bought one yet.

Not really sure how comparable this is, but I had a bunch of issues with my Vive doing something similar (viewpoint twisting and jumping) until I realized that the big plate glass window in the room was bouncing the lighthouse lasers around and confusing it. I shut the blinds and presto - rock solid.

My one experience with an Oculus Rift was awesome, but it was on a screaming PC built for VR. I have a hard time believing my vanilla PS4 would be even half as good.

I am, however, very interested to see console VR next gen.

We have a big window in the room where my PS4 is set up. That might have been it.

Still, I have a history of going to the hospital for vestibular migraines, so I’m disinclined to take any chances.
