FF13: GWJFFL Week 7

Wow I have a crap load of points on the bench in both Pro and Keeper...

Case Keenum vs. the Chiefs outscored both Tom Brady (Keeper) and Cam Newton (D-I). Conversely, the Texan that I did have in - Arian Foster - went out early in the first quarter after giving me a 1.1 point pittance.

I'm in the 50 percentile range in Pro and Keeper for coach rating.

Rabbit trying to come back on me with Manning. He needs to only throw to D Thomas so I can leech some points too, and keep my lead.

I'm screwed in Pro yet again.

Manning needs to throw some more, ideally to Welker so I have a chance in D-II.

Double TE strategy worked.

So, will Victor Cruz be held to less than 5 points tomorrow night?

Just lost by .3 points. f*ck you fantasy football.

sh*t has been stressing me out lately, I think I'll skip next year so I can just relax and watch football again without worrying about stats.

Won by 20 and 60. Forgot what that feels like.

And in the non-GWJ that I won by 60, I played a defense with -3 while the defense on my bench had 15. So i could have won by almost 80.

Don't look at scores. I no longer look at live scores, ever. Best decision I ever made; brought me back from the brink of fantasy burnout.

Fantasy football is a game I play on Tuesday through Thursday, and very briefly on Sunday mornings before games start.

When the games are actually being played, there is no fantasy football, just Real* Football. The very first time I will look at fantasy scores is after the Sunday night game is over. So much less stressful and, in turn, more fun that way.

(*: also some Jacksonville Jaguars football)

Yes, Legion has the right of it. I learned this a long time ago. I like FF so much better than I used to once I figured this out.

Andy Dalton has been rocking it the past two weeks. I benched him this time over Matt Ryan though. I may permanently switch it up because the Falcons are just looking sad.

+1

Reason to sometimes hate FF:

Giants fan just saw a Giants TD and cheers!!

FF opponent has that receiver that scored TD.

I stayed up to watch the gamecast and chew my nails over my DII matchup. I barely won and thought I had no right to win with the score I put up this week (115.05) before realizing I had the second-highest score in the league this week. What a crazy week and season it's been.

Yeah, I was third highest and I only got 0.4 points from my quarterback. Definitely a weird week.

Tough game ahead for me in week 8. Going up against the other 6-1 team in DI.

Kept my win streak alive and moved onto 2nd place by record. I briefly felt like an idiot for dropping randle after he got an early td then I tried to watch more of the game and felt better. I don't want to root for that Giants team, ugly football all around.

I'm absolutely baffled how I'm 1 game above .500 in D2 despite picking Doug Martin with the 2nd overall pick, picking Steven Jackson with my round 2 pick, and then picking Roddy White with my 4th round pick (Russel Wilson was my 3rd round pick).

Jackson played the first 2 games of the year and hasn't played since.

Doug Martin has 1 touchdown on the year and may miss the rest of the season.

Roddy White has averaged 3 points per game and has no touchdowns.

You're doing great given the circumstances. I feel like everyone has been touched by busts this year. Among my first and second round picks across the three leagues I'm in this year:

- CJ Spiller
- Ray Rice
- Trent Richardson
- Steven Jackson

I am only doing well in many of my leagues thanks to my mid round picks.

This has been one of my luckiest years regarding busts. I would say my only big mistake in the d2 draft was Bryce Brown in the 8th. Ironically the only time I won a fantasy league was the time I drafted Charles in the first the year he played one whole game.

My running backs were David Wilson and CJ Spiller. The only reason I'm 3-4 is because of Peyton Manning.

I'm playing the guy with Peyton, Knowshon and Julius in another league this week. He is 6-1 with most points scored. I'm already looking at week 9 in that league.
