Breaking Bad: "Do it yourself"

Had to post this:

Holy Cow, I was ready for some laugh track and misunderstanding-type-joke shenanigans. Style is everything.

DO NOT WATCH if you haven't seen the latest episode, but this is an excellent example of the power of editing. Horrible, and yet I can't help but giggle.

Wait, who is that?
I was watching on Netflix, so it's possible I didn't know there was another season.

What season was the

Spoiler:

Nursing home ending where Gus gets his face blow off?

Is there more after that.

Also the scene with Walter and his wife in a warehouse on that blog link, I don't recognize.

**edit** I see season 5.
Damn, somethimes I think I need to be connected to mass media again. Then I think no.

Yep! All of Season 5.

Good news for me, missing Breaking Bad was the one thing I was dreading while planning for my trip to Europe this summer. Good on ya AMC! I wonder who will be hosting Talking Bad?

After seeing this, I hope it is Conan O'Brien.

August 11, people. Set your doomsday countdown clocks.

OK this is a series that i've completel passed by. It started back when i really didnt watch TV, and just havent taken the time to dip in.

Is it worth starting from the beginning?

SO WORTH IT.

Ahem.

Having missed it the first time around, my wife and I burned through the entire series during this winter, and loved every minute of it. Now waiting with anticipation and dread for August.

Absolutely. Easily one of my favorite shows ever.

You have to start from the beginning. There's way too much character development to watch it any other way.

I would say it is imperative to start from the beginning, as this is a story about a progression told over five seasons. There are no stand-alone seasons, or even episodes. The theme of a perceived chaos within a system of cause and effect is best observed when looking at the story from a whole.

I am going to try and watch the entire run before it airs, although I will probably not make it. I will then continue watching the first four seasons while season 5 concludes. It's a strange show that would benefit from watching previous seasons concurrently.

Of course Breaking Bad should be watched.

Based on this promo still, I'm calling it now: Jesse Hank Team Up.

Wonder Twins, activate! Form of motherf*king SCIENCE!

Hoping the first half of season 5 pops up on Netflix soon so I can catch up in time. Anyone hear anything about a date?

Do you have their DVD service? Because it's available there.

Aw sheeeeee-it!

I done peed my pants. Shoot.

I'll just leave this here.

Where's a purple-clad middle school Marie? Full letter grade drop for that oversight, children. You ought be ashamed.

Three days! Look alive, people, it's happening! Also, FWIW, Monday night features a Mythbusters Breaking Bad special. Vince Gilligan and Aaron Paul will be on hand to discover if the bathtub scene from season one holds any water, and whether, "This? Is not meth." is a pile of BS.

Just finished Season 2. I'm going to wait until the scars heal before starting on Season 3.

I'm giddy with anticipation.

A NYC-area bakery is making Blue Sky cupcakes in honor of the return of Breaking Bad.
