sent, 2 left now

I'd like a pass, please.

Thanks!

So, is a realistic to have a GWJ guild just for social aspects? I got in game last night and got my Valk up to lvl 12 or so but with GW2's pvp season in full swing, I'm not going to looking to join a real guild any time soon.

Ill send mine out later today

I doubt it, the goodjer flock seldom stays long with any new mmo and there are not a ton of us to begin with in this one. I'm not sure if this has a chat system similar to FFXIV's linkshells (if I'm remembering the name correctly) but if so maybe that would work.

I have three codes as well if anyone needs one.

Yeah, assumed that everyone will move on in a month, but didn't realize that I have already come to take multiguild systems for granted. I'm betting BDO doesn't support multiguilds.

I haven't bothered doing much research on the topic yet, but it looks like there is a concept called a "clan" that provides social connectivity without providing any of the other benefits (and costs) of full guilds.

Everyone wait to give out their codes until tomorrow so I can actually log on tonight!!111!!

I just created a GWJ clan.

I think i still have to visit people to invite them though.

Played around for a bit, family name is Zanatos, really had to dig at the bottom barrel of my old alias' and even then had to change it from Xanatos to Zanatos.

No incarnations of w00t are allowed, really annoys me that numbers are allowed but B12n11w00t is invalid?

Anyway I've just been playing around with the valkyrie, maybe spent an hour in the early area running around and stuff. Combat is really fun, but I imagine I'll need some beginner guides before too long.

eesh, get off my horse in town and can't tell which of the 10-20 horses is mine

I just quit the guild i joined so i can join gwj for 24 hours. You dont need to see to invite, when i got invited to the one i joined I was nowhere near them

As a bit of info for folks trying to send friend requests. On the enter friend name uncheck the box that says family name. When you do it changes to character name with an empty box. I think its a typo but with it unchecked you can send friend requests to family names

I have yet to find the quest to get a horse

The biggest thing I'd recommend is to do a bit of research before buying too many skills.

Most everything else you do (including investing in nodes) can be undone far more easily than you'd expect. However, respeccing your skills can only be done via the cash shop (or via achievements for large amounts of play time).

char name Kirwin kassan

gonna try sorc first

Ha! Awesome, it works now!

Holy crap it did. Totes typo

Hmm combos will be tough with the default buttons

oops, still have one code left after all

eta: holy crap, this game may have the most annoying escort classesquests rather I've encountered. The fellows you have to escort have an incredibly small radius which if you exit they will stop moving... even if you crouch walk you'll eventually outpace them leaving yourself to wonder where the hell they trailed off...

Definitely try the controller support -- I found it worked much better for me.

Also just remember you can remap keys to the way you want. I did mine to match what i normally use for other games and it feels good.

Just have to transpose their hints and descriptions because they stick with the default mappings.

So i've been kinda lucky with taming horses. None were T3, but out of the 4 horses i tamed they were 2 T2 and 2 T1, but all 4 were females. I ended up buying me a stud off of the horse market and put him to work and this T3 beauty was the result:

Edit: Nevermind!

Supposedly there aren't very many escort missions. Sounds like a blessing.

I played for another hour or so last night, still getting used to the quirks of the game, should I bother with buying a residence before I get to the first big city?

I had to look up how nodes worked, mostly because it didn't matter how many nodes I ran too(and oh did I run to a lot) I still couldn't contribute. I thought maybe it was because I was at the camp which isn't a real city or anything and ran back up to Olphia, couldn't find one there either. My assumption is Veila is where I'll get my first node that I can activate so I'll work my way down there today.
