You have no idea how tempting it is to post a giant screenshot of War on a horse.

Is it a good screenshot?

Does it have to be a screenshot?

Do you happen to have an actual photo of one of the riders of the Apocalypse upon his mighty steed?

Screenshots are like gameplay videos, for grownups.

That's it folks, you can all pack up and go home.

Yeah, I'd say we're done here.

Cave Story+ $2.50 on Steam.

Bravo on the Pony pic.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is on sale at Green Man Gaming for $12.50 and with this code: GMG20-P4DLK-FKYRS it's only $9 something!

They give you a Steam code so you don't need another service when you purchase it.

It's my favorite game these days!

Here I am playing it!

Hitman Absolution just came out on Xbox Games on Demand. It's currently $30 - does anyone know if this is regular price and I will be able to get it cheaper later, or is it part of the current sale? I didn't see it listed anywhere.

I can't speak to Xbox deals, but I've seen it around $20 for both PC and PS3 versions (picked it up on the PS3).

Hitman hasn't been singled out yet as a sale item this week so I'd hold out until the Mega-Sale is over before diving in.

Well played.

Dishonored for $30? What are you waiting for?

For someone to buy me an Xbox.

Batman Arkham City - $14.99/1200 MSP (50% off)
Borderlands - $9.99/800 MSP (50% off)
Borderlands 2 - $29.99/2400 MSP (50% off)
Dead Island - $9.99/800 MSP (50% off)
Dishonored - $29.99/2400 MSP (50% off)
Fable III - $9.99/800 MSP (50% off) | Canada: $29.99/2040 MSP (25% off)

Portal 2 - $14.99/1200 MSP (50% off)
Red Dead Redemption - $14.99/1200 MSP (50% off)

Dishonored for $30? What are you waiting for? An objective marker pop-up? Because I turned those off.

Tempted by New Vegas and maybe the Batman...

Ouch, right in the pile.

Move it up in the queue!

Same.

I'll likely nab both.

For you deal seekers - all of today's retail offers regularly hit those price points at amazon. Arkham City GOTY is 20$ fairly often.

Also, you can sell physical copies on eBay/half unlike digital copies that will probably not even be able to be moved iver to Durango or whatnot.

Bought New Vegas. I'm skipping the Batmen since I've played them both before.

Speaking of Hitman, GMG has the Pro edition for $10 when you use coupon GMG20-P4DLK-FKYRS. Think that's today only.

Got an email from Blizzard that StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty is half off at their digital store-- $20. I doubt I'm jumping at it, but someone may want to. Sorry, I don't have a link atm.

I think it's already been mentioned but tomorrow is the last day to get Journey for $10.50 on PSN (or $7 something if you're a plus member)

Muchas gracias Mannish.

Downloading as we speak.

I bought it, too. I've never played a Hitman game.

-----------------
Robot Entertainment has a 75% off sale on Orcs Must Die games and Hero Academy.

Several options of DLC included or not, but here's a sample:

Orcs Must Die GOtY: $3.24
Orcs Must Die 2 $3.24 (complete $6.24)
Hero Academy stuff.

I assume Steam codes.

Xbox Live's sale today is supposed to include the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (MGS 2 & 3) for $9.99 and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD Edition for $9.99.

Does anyone want to enable me on these? I've never played a MGS game, although I love stealth games like Splinter Cell (especially the older ones, not as much the last kill-everyone version.) Obviously I know these are religious experiences for a lot of the slightly younger crowd who grew up playing them, but I'd like to know if folks think it will hold up both in terms of gameplay and graphics for someone who has no vested interest in or nostalgia for the series.

Looks like a pretty big sale on all the Sid Meier's stuff on Steam.

So Civ V stuff, etc. God and Kings is $7.50 for instance.

Anyone care to sell me on God and Kings? I really liked the combat in civ 5, but the ai can't handle it and there isn't as much stuff as civ 4.

Great, I'm now considering Fallut 3 and Max Payne 3...

I really enjoyed what I'd play of MP3 (made it to the end of disc 1), just don't know if I'm up for it again yet. Guess I've got time to decide, since they're holding off on starting the sales...

I'd say definitely worth it. Even if you haven't played previous games in the series, both MGS 2 and 3 don't require prior knowledge of series events, and so far as I've played of Peace Walker it doesn't either.

The only one of the series where it really pays to have played the previous games is MGS 4. If you don't go into that one having played others in the series, you will be TOTALLY lost at some point in the story. Personally, I'd say start with MGS 3, it's probably the best of the three among those games.

FWIW, I put in about 100 hours on Fallout 3, and the story really delivers.
