Seattle S&T - Sept 13 - Raygun Lounge - 7:00 PM PDT

Maybe hit up a tour of the old Seattle downtown, underneath the existing road and sidewalk! I'm definitely checking that out next time I go.

I work 2 blocks from the start of one of those tours. I'd be glad to join Mike or any other Goodjer on that trip sometime.

Seattle things are always a toss-up for me. On one hand, I'd love to meet more of you guys, but on the other hand, $100 (Transit + 2 meals + drinks) and a six hour commute is a bit much for a day trip.

Awesome, I'm always up for meeting Googers visiting town. And Cafe Mox...mmmmm, nachos in a box...

Unfortunately, I waited too long, and the rooms at Cafe Mox are booked up until the end of the month, practically, from 8 PM to close. If we wanted to do something there AND have a room, it's going to have to start earlier than that and end either in the cafe itself or somewhere else later, or just hang out at the place (which I'm fine with, we don't HAVE to game). If someone has another preference, please say so. Also, I'd like to know who, besides Edwin, Clover, myself, and Amoebic will be there. Still planning on Friday the 13th. Wednesday evening could work, too, so let me know. I just have to get my rental car for my Thursday excursion at 5:30 Wednesday evening.

Have you considered Raygun Lounge on Capitol Hill?

Anyhoo, I'm down for the 13th!

Hi guys, I'm moving to Seattle this month I dont have my final move-up flight yet but I think it will be that week. I'll be down as a 'maybe' until I know more about whats going on that week but I'd love to meet some Seattle gwjers!

Bumping for the Seattle folks who may just be getting home from work.

I've sent out inquiries so the Raygun Lounge to see if we can reserve or how they handle it. Post your availability when you can.

I'm available either date.

In solidarity with..... S0LIDARITY. Either date works.

I'd be down for the 13th. There would be two of us.

Due to the new baby I can't really commit to anything but both of those dates are theoretically good. I'm going to try my hardest to make it to whatever you all decide on. Hopefully Raygun Lounge works out, I've still never been there.

13 still works for me.

Guys, please punch all the locals who didn't make the PAX S&T.

Sorry...

I'm so out of it on the forums these days. I'm so thrilled that NSMike will visit us! I can't wait to see the guy behind the TF2 character that done killed me many times.

Obviously, I missed the PAX S&T. I had familial obligations that kept me.

I'm going to this thing.

OW

I should be available for either date.

Raygun Lounge takes reservations as long as we meet a catering minimum (not too bad, it's 20 bucks an hour). So plan on, well, doing what we do at Cafe Mox and prioritizing the snacking and drinking.

When are we doing this thing, anyway? Sounds like the 13th is winning so far.

I updated the OP with the basic info I got from Edwin 's Google+ invite. Everyone seems fine with the 13th, so I'm going to say it's safe to lock in that date.

Here is the RSVP link, please use it if you can. I prefer using G+ for this kind of stuff because when you take photos during the event, it will put it into a group album we can all see later.

So, by my count just from the thread posts, we have 11 definite yesses and 3 unconfirmed (momgamer, SixteenBlue, and polypusher). Nice turn out, if everyone makes it! And of course, more can join at any time. I'm just counting for my information.

I'll throw my hat in as a maybe. Scheduling is hard with the little one but I'll see what I can do. Anyone have an idea how easy it is to find parking around there? Google tells me a bus ride is about an hour so I'd rather not do that.

Its not exactly easy but I've always been able to find something whenever I'm in the area.

Edit: Easier than parking at Card Kingdom at least.

Maybe we can set up carpools?

Looks like I'm good to go, so I can do this for a couple people on the east side. I can't take the car seat out as it's a huge pain to get it back in, so I could fit 2 people or 3 if someone is tiny. Only caveat is I probably will need to leave the party by 10pm.

To make things easier on folks that drive, there are a number of transit options available. The following buses will drop you off nearby. I highly recommend you use this link and plugin where you are coming from to get directions.

Just confirmed our reservation for next Friday. Come hungry and thirsty!

Note that it will also be Lady's PNP night if you are interested in that.

Sorry what is PNP? My rushed Googling found some urban dictionary definitions that I assume are waaay off here.
