What's his name TE? You'll know his name soon, which is why I drafted him, but sat him. You know, gotta make sure he is consistent.
Yeah, I actually couldn't believe he was still sitting there at the end of the DII draft with some of the expert hype that started building up on him. Worth a flier on a 10 man bench.
With that said, I will entertain any trade offers for him under the condition that you rename your team "Orange Julius" once the transaction goes through.
So Peyton don't get me wrong..I'm glad you've thrown 5 TDs for my fantasy team, but could you quit f*cking throwing them to my opponents WR?
Hehehe. I have Welker in my other league. Loving it.
I have both Manning *and* Welker in D-II.
So, so happy.
55 points between them so far.

Risk management they call this.
7 TD passes and NONE of them went to Eric Decker. SIGH. Friggen SIGH

He had a pretty ugly drop in the endzone at one point.

That's what they call a ticker tease.

Yeah, he totally T-Rex'd that endzone pass.

Pretty sure I'll be taking a loss this week.
Gumbie's gonna have a high score money grab week 1!

I'm guessing all the flubs and drops last night are game 1 jitters, although maybe not on Baltimore's side. Clark and Dickson looked average to horrible, and Smith wasn't anywhere near as productive as he should have been with Baltimore throwing as much as they did in the second half. That said, I'm thanking the Fantasy Gods that I was going up against Decker in two leagues last night.

I wouldn't worry about Decker, it's clear the ball is going to be passed around. He'll get his passes when people start paying more attention to Welker ... and Thomas ... and Thomas. I feel bad for D coordinators.
As far as jitters, I'd say the Ravens receiving corps was hit with rust. Clark and Dickson barely played in the preseason (and Dickson has never been consistent) while Smith was getting more attention than usual (as he will all season). I need to watch the game tape again, but my guess is Torrey is getting jammed at the line and is having trouble getting free. Boldin was the only receiver on the Ravens who was able to produce in that state, so it's to be expected with Smith to be shut down. Unacceptable in the sense that he's THE man now.

I liked Smith for the past two years but I started to realize he makes one or two big plays a game and then disappears. I don't see him as a legit #1 which is what the Ravens are expecting him to be with Boldin gone.
I am really, really surprised that, picking 6th in the DII draft, I got Manning on the way out and Welker on the way back. Kicking myself for not grabbing more Broncos WRs though.

I didn't intend on taking any QBs in the first two rounds so I could try to get elite talent at other positions if it was there. Although I don't think it's a reach that you took him there. I was astonished in most of my leagues how early quarterbacks were going based on the mock drafts I did, but I think that's more a result of the fact that people don't actually have to live with their teams in a mock. And that they probably fully bought the expert "wait on a QB" hype, which I think is misguided due to the positional advantage you get with a top 3 or 4 QB.
I personally thought the 3rd round was a reach for Welker, but I'll happily eat crow if he continues looking like he did last night throughout the season.
Teams without logos are lame. If your team has no logo, fix that!

*Makes mental note to specifically not add a logo to agitate Legion*

Me after looking at Peyton's fantasy numbers last night.

Well I expect your team to be lame.
Thank god I have Welker.
I ave manning in two leagues. Nice start to the year!!!
Ouch. Instead of our league, this is what I'm getting from Fleaflicker this morning:
HTTP Status 500 - datastore.DatastoreException: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLNonTransientConnectionException: Could not create connection to database server. Attempted reconnect 3 times. Giving up.
From Twitter:
@kpj104 We're aware. Our engineers will have it fixed shortly. Thanks. We'll keep you updated and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Every year, right? Good times. Glad I got mine setup early thus morning.
Working for me right now.
Yeah opening day hiccup. Every year. But it's back up for now.
sh*t. 1 carry for AP, 78 yard TD. My lead in my non-GWJ league from Thurs night is now gone.
Man, wish it had occurred to me that Haden is going to be on Wallace all game. Never would've started him.
TE Clay for the Dolphins might me a sleeper. He's getting targeted a bunch.
So apparently I should have played any other RB/WR over MJD...
