Saints Row The Third Catch-All

Well I finished the main story line, finished all the side missions, challenges, assassinations, vehicle thefts, everything. Even played both endings. Just need to get the achievement for ending chapter 1 in a different way.

Also finished Professor Genki DLC (all achievements) and half way through Trouble with Clones DLC. It's been really quite fun. 115 hours and climbing. Figure there is probably another 10-15 hours to finish this DLC and the other DLC and then get the chapter 1 achievement. Not that it really matters since it's on Steam, but I still have enjoyed collecting the achievements.

I have to say that this game has really surprised the hell out of me. I really didn't think it would be my kind of game and I've pretty much played this at the expense of games like Batman, Battlefield and Jagged Alliance. It's just been one of those really fun and easy games to play that just seems to suck up a lot of time, but in a really fun way. Going to kinda miss it once it's all done.

You can always buy it for the 360, and get real achievements.

The Holy sh*tsnacks Adventures of Pam in Steelport

hell yeah

103 hours already, and I'd still start over and play again with someone, if there was anyone left who hadn't played it yet.

I love this game.

And completed all DLC. So that's it. Finished everything. You know what, that was a lot of fun.

Hell yeah it was.

I heard "Power" yesterday and it made me want to play through the whole thing again.

I've put in about 130 hours. Got my money's worth.

I picked this up for the Xbox and am having a blast so far. Is it worth picking up any DLC early in the game?

Get the Genki's and The Trouble with clones. Save the Gangsta's in Space for after the end of the story.

I did them all after the story finished and I was far, far too overpowered at that point for the Genki's or the Clones to be fun or challenging. Which was a shame as the Genk Bowl stuff was among my favourite stuff in the game.

The Money Shot DLC is pretty keen, too. Free sniper rifle and hoverbike.

I also played them all after the normal ending, and it was fine with me, fwiw.

You can play them whenever really. It's just like any other story mission. To be honest, I found the throwing 5 guys into the water achievement quite hard since I had leveled up my throwing of dudes to the max and you had to run them back a bit otherwise they'd just hit the wall.

I waited until after I beat the story, but if I was to play again, I'd just do them whenever.

66% off everything.

Thinking of getting the season pass and maybe the vampire and night blade dlc. What are the good DLCs?

I bought the base game and am enjoying it more than SR2. Not sure it's worth me buying all the DLC yet as the game is quite confusing as it is!

The season pass has all of the new missions/activities. It also comes with one of the non-mission DLC packs. For me, it was exactly what I needed, and all I needed.

Just a reminder that this has a "free weekend" on Steam. And it's hugely discounted, as well as the season pass DLC.

So close to double dipping... (And I've considered buying the PS3 version, too )

Money Shot is the best DLC pack. It comes with a new sniper rifle and a flying motorcycle.

The Explosive Pack is pretty good too, as it includes a new grenade launcher.

I ended up getting most of the DLC that weren't cheats or gear I thought was ugly. Put a $12 dent in my pocket. Anyway just tried the game show mission and got destroyed. I also tried the Gat clone mission which I take is from the trouble with clones and it was fun. I haven't finished the missions yet though.

Its odd replaying this game without my over the top tranny. Now I'm playing with a posh British guy.

Posting in a Legendary THREAD!

(sorry I just noticed that this would be the 2000th post for this thread)

Yup, I like those two. Although I pretty much didn't use the grenade launcher much. I felt the rocket launcher was better.

Sniper rifle is pretty cool though and the hover bike is super helpful.

All-in-one version is coming out in November.

Yeah, I didn't use the grenade launcher much either but I liked having the option. To be fair I didn't use the rocket launcher either. I was all about the satchel charges.

Thanks! I was wondering when that's coming out.

So I picked this up with the DLC on the 360. Is the co-op fun? Any 360 folks interested?

Haven't tried the co-op on PC yet, but I plan to double-dip on the 360 version, then we can play dildobat Jedis.

Kind of what I always wanted. Go pick it up and let me know!

Co-op is just two of you doing missions and screwing around together. So it's entirely ymmv on making smartass responses to the game. And explosions.

You know my next question, right:)?

Does it affect achievements?

There are actually achievements for doing missions in co-op.
