So do you... do you farm sex? Is that more vegetable or animal product?
It's a Super Fruit.
So kind of like acai?
It's EXACTLY like acai.
Finally, I can invite friends and family to marvel at the splendor of Trichy's Sex Farm.
Your poor horse.
And I thought I was bad person for naming my in-game dog "Wanker".
Stardew Valley coming to mobile
Hello everyone,I hope you’ve all had a great summer and are enjoying this transition to the cooler weather of fall.
Today, I’ve got some exciting news to share with everyone – Stardew Valley is coming to mobile, and it’s actually releasing on the iOS App Store in just over 2 weeks time, on October 24th!
The mobile port is being developed by London-based mobile development studio, The Secret Police, who have been working closely with me for about a year. Chucklefish has been handling the business and marketing side of things. While the game will launch first on the iOS App Store, The Secret Police are currently working on finishing up the Android version, and I hope to give you more news about an exact launch date soon.
Time to QUADRUPLE dip!
Just waiting for the Autumn Steam sale so I can pick up a few copies, the 9 y.o. boy has been pestering me to co-op play this one.
I’m still waiting for multiplayer on Switch.
YAY! Can't wait for the Android version!
Stardew Valley's going to be self-published starting December 14 (but Chucklefish will still work on the ports).
So I just finished up my first year in this game, spent a good amount of time in Fall and Winter cleaning up the farm. Got rid of all the grass, extra trees, stumps, logs, rocks, etc . only to have Spring 1 roll around and turn my farm into a trash heap again. To say I was frustrated would be an under statement. Just spent half of spring trying to get my farm clean again while maintaining the small patch of the farm I actually work. I wouldn't mind too much, except that the trees make it impossible to see anything as they block vision behind them. Is there anyway to stop Spring 1 from completely trashing my farm after a nice relaxing winter?
I am totally loving this game and playing it way too much. Getting most of the villagers to 10 hearts and completing the bundles is my current objective. I have not yet tried to woo any of the single people in town although I did finally upgrade my house to tier 2 in the winter.
I think putting down walkways and fences etc. will lessen the amount, but I think the new season always means a certain amount of clearing work. Just part of the ebb and flow of the game!
That said, I don't think I ever cleared my whole yard in the first year. I just open an area to farm, and a nice path down to the south, and leave the western area as a forest that I gradually work my way into. You can clear the whole field, but in the early game you just don't have the tools to do anything useful with that much land at once. Later on when you have gold tools and sprinklers you can make use of way more ground.
While it's absolutely frustrating, it can help a bit to focus on how much faster it is to get things under control now that you have upgraded tools and a better support network.
I actually regretted cutting all of my grass down, later on I had to go around and replant it outside of my animal pen, as it couldn't grow fast enough for my needs.

The most efficient way costs 10 million gold.
Out now on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...
oh, time to quadruple dip... mmm?

This is my third copy of this game (PC, switch, Android) It works great on Android. I had one issue when I answered a call while playing and corrupted my save. They let you recover and all I lost was an in game day of farming so not so bad. That small hiccup aside I'm really enjoying having this game to play while waiting in line and stuff. It's great.
How well does the Android version do visually with small phones vs. a tablet. Is the screen too small or is it even noticeable on a phone? I'm debating triple-dipping this one (PC, Switch) but I have some concerns I might not be able to see too much on the screen.
I've been playing it on my Pixel 2 and it runs like a dream and is perfectly easy to see. The only hiccup is the combat controls, but they've already promised some fixes for that.
I agree with Trichy, I think it controls really well (but yeah combat is a bit iffy). I'm enjoying it a lot!
Bit late to the party but I got the Android version. Haven't had a chance to fire it up yet.
So I’m on a family trip, a shorter flight. Because of this I decided to bring my 3DS instead of my Vita or Switch. I opted instead to buy Stardew Valley (my main Vita or Switch game) on iPad instead.
This is my first time playing the game on anything other than a dedicated handheld gaming device and I just discovered that this game has zoom. It obviously doesn’t have it on Vita or Switch.
First off, it’s really handy to be able to see more of the town while you navigate. Secondly, though, it’s kind of hilarious to click on people and watch your character navigate to them. He’s like a crazy obsessed person who just makes a beeline, cutting through lawns or whatever to get directly to the person.
Anyway, just an observation that amused me.
They're wanting to hire an administrator for Stardew Valley. I'm completely qualified for this position. Would it be THAT bad to abandon my job, family, and all responsibilities to move to Seattle and work for this company?
They're in Seattle?! Gonna have to beat you to it friend (link?) Edit: Nevermind, found it
Edit2: Holy hell that's a lot of duties. I'd say too much for a single person considering they're probably looking to pay very little (possibly unfair assumption)
Good grief, that's like five jobs in one! Just having to moderate multiple social media platforms is a job in itself.
I got few days under my belt now on the phone, the controls are better than expected. Haven't tried combat yet though

Well, the creator did make the whole thing by himself. Maybe he over-estimates how much others will be able to do?
(I totally agree, by the way -- the list of responsibilities is intense!)
Yikes, that really is a comically unrealistic job posting. You keep expecting it to say "Also must speak Italian, Chinese a plus".
I mean, there are lots of small offices where one person dabbles in nineteen different roles. But you create that person by hiring an office manager and helping them to grow, not by advertising for someone with previous experience in all nineteen roles!
Edit: my suggested addition:
- Office management:
- Responsible for Windows maintenance (both the OS and the physical windows)

This is a job for at least three people, IMO. I'm honestly a little disappointed - I do get that people can mean well and have blinders in this arena, but at a moment in time where this industries labor practices are being examined and starting to transform, this strikes me as an incredibly tone deaf listing.
