BLU Android Phones, Are they worth it?

Anyone here familiar with the Android phone brand BLU? I've recently switched from Verizon to pre-paid and have been looking at unlocked phones to use with Net10 via the AT&T Network. I had been debating back and forth over getting a Samsung Galaxy S3 or the Sony Xperia Z (or ZL) when I came across the BLU line. Being significantly cheaper than either name brand, I went with the DASH 3.5 as kind of a impulse buy without checking out anything else on there line.
I really can't stand it.
It was supposed to be similar to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play that I had through Verizon with the available specs they released for it, though what I got was a phone with significantly reduced RAM and internal storage space (vs Xperia). It isn't all bad though, the interface I like quite a bit more than my old Sony, despite both running Android 2.3. But before I commit to another of their phones (They are still way cheaper than those Samsung or Sony brand unlocked phones) I was hoping I could come here and see if anyone else has tried them, and if they are worth the low price.

The two models I am looking at are the VIVO 4.65 at $247.99:

Thoughts?

Interesting timing. I've been looking at this one. I need something to replace my aging HTC EVO 4g

Looks really nice and for ~$120 it really can't be beat.

From what I can gather, it looks like it's a phone that isn't from a well-known manufacturer and is cheap. BLU apparently mostly sells phones in Latin America and are just entering the US market.

I think the only real impact you'll see are a lack of future software updates from BLU and probably limited community-support since it's not very popular. So if the current level of functionality is acceptable it's probably no big deal.

If you get one post back! I'm tempted by this, but not sure if I'm going to take the plunge.

It should be noted that BLU phones only work with 3G signal. If you've grown accostomed to 4G speeds, this may not be the way to go.
After having the DASH 3.5, I've stepped away from that line. The DASH 4 does look like a solid phone, but the 3.5 has scarred me too much (and it has only been a week! [ugh]).
It might be a while before I get another as I just discovered a new contender, the BLU Life One at $299 (releases in the US in late July):

engadget[/url]][...]Meanwhile, the more reasonably sized Life One ($299) includes a 5-inch display, a 13-megapixel rear / 5-megapixel front camera, similar storage specs and a 2,000mAh battery.

Complete specs here.
I looks like it took heavy inspiration from the HTC One, which if that is true, the lack of removable battery is a deal breaker and I would consider the recently released Life Play at $229.99 instead.

It would appear that the Life One is to release within a week if this unboxing video is true:

I'll post back once I have one in hand.

Looks great.

I broke down and picked up a Nexus 4 when they dropped the price $100. It should be here on Monday.
