Playstation 4

Just go to the "Library" tab on the PS4 (either on the main home page strip, or link from within the PS Store) and it lists all your games and apps, both installed, and available to download.

I missed the month they gave away Rocket League so wasn't perfect but had a fairly hefty pile waiting for me when I eventually traded in my PS3 for the new console.

Same here. Except I got Rocket League and still have my PS3.

You don't? That one is news to me. So even if they'd deleted a game as the poster mentioned, it is just there and no download is required?

Okay, god...I went back re-read things. Totally misunderstood. I think all of us are saying the same thing. Don't mind me. Nothing to see here, move along, move along.

I just bought Destiny 2 and it came with a code for a free 30 day trial of PS+. It's only for new PS+ members, so I won't use it. So first come first served, the code is:

Why does my ps4 decide that the OS is randomly corrupted and then I have to reinstall everything? I didn't want to play Yakuza anyway.

Yikes - I've never had that happen on any of my PS4's. Is this the first time? I would suspect hard drive failure...

Yeah I've only ever had the power shut off unexpectedly and it does a long check on boot. But everything is always ok

Beats me but I have had it happen once to me about a year ago. It was annoying but easier that buying a new PS4.

It was happened to me twice. The hard drive is new. So I don't think the drive is failing. At least PS+ makes it easy to get at my saves.

This is a general PSN question, but is there a place where I can see what games I own on PSN? I can go to download list, but that lumps all the dlc/themes/avatars and games into one section and at 1700+ is a bit much to sort through.

If you find it tell me too. Same problem from years of PS+. And even worse if you let plus lapse, then it changes all dates to when you sign up again and you can't find it by true release date anymore

For PS+ games alone, at least on PS4, they can all be found under the Plus icon on your dashboard.
For all owned PSN games (including PS+ ones) and apps, locating again on PS4, those can be found under the 'Library' icon on your dashboard.
Interestingly, these two icons are on opposite ends from each other.

Sadly, I haven't found an easy way to sift through anything PSN related on PS3...

To manage what games I own, I use the browser plugin called PSDLE. You can log in to the store, click the plugin button and it summarizes everything you own.

It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but it summarizes all of your purchases and is filterable by platform and has a PS+ filter as well. I don't see a filter by full game, but it can sort by size, which helps.

Edit: It actually does have filters for full games or addons. I hadn't seen the button and just used the search more than anything. Either way, great plugin.

Sweet - there is even a Greasemonkey script to do the same thing. Thanks!!

Thank you. PS4 is fine on console, but finding out what Vita games owned is a right pain in the...

Yeah, thats what my main issue was, tracking what I own on Vita/PS3

The Gran Turismo Sport limited time demo is available for pre-load. It's 43 gigs!

That sounds...low.

43 gigs for a demo? It feels like they released the entire game and just are gating certain parts.

Forza 7's full install is around 67GB, so that might be on the "small side" if it's carrying 4K assets for the PSPro crowd.

I started at the rank beginner level of the GT Sport demo, and it has nearly scared me off. The handling is super twitchy. Maybe it's the default controller sensitivity, but I really don't think current model sports cars should spin out quite so easily.

I haven't played GT Sport, so I am not sure how much you can adjust the cars setup, but in Project Cars 2 they have the default setup set to "loose". Which for me meant the car is practically impossible to control. They built a few setups into each car, one being "stable". The difference was night and day.

I have the demo pre-installed I'll try to give it a whirl with a wheel today. I'm still not sure about it as from what I have read, it lacks a proper career mode and instead focuses more on the online aspect of it.

Eve Valkyrie Warzone felt like it was very quietly released. Anyone play it non-VR? Wondering how much game is there for $40. It's been a while since I had a Wing Commander fix...

So, I've started having a problem as of yesterday with my Dualshock 4 controller. It will only charge when my PS4 is not on and actively connected to it. If my PS4 is running, the controller c\won't charge. Keep in mind, my controller is not even connected physically to my PS4 but rather to a micro-USB charging hub that I also use for my phone and bluetooth headphones.

Neither of those devices were connected at the time this was occurring. I also tried via a micro-USB cable connected to my computer, same result - the PS4 kept telling me the Dualshock 4 battery was low and then disconnected it when it got too low. This only just started happening recently, coincidently after I updated firmware to 5.0 (or.. maybe NOT coincidently?). Any thoughts?

No idea if this would help, but I guess you could try resetting the controller (the pinhole is on the back near the L2 button).

I think its the controller sensitivity, I tried running an arcade race in a miata and was it was a struggle to keep it straight, plugged my wheel in and the thing drove great.

I played the trial couple hours yesterday, the actual handling of the vehicles was pretty good, I found it enjoyable. Couple bummers for me, for some reason the game insisted on turning on traction control and abs for every single race even with my presets set to expert. I still didn't see a proper career mode like in older games, they did show a list of tracks thats going to be available and it just seems lacking to me. While the missions section is pretty full, it was just an extra mode in the previous game. There is no dynamic weather/time. Overall the game feels like more of the prologue then a full GT title.
What I did like, the vehicle sounds are much better compared to previous games, graphics look great on my base ps4. I REALLY liked the way they made your proximity to the other cars visible to you. AI seems to be much improved to previous title.

To me I think I will pass on this, the inconvinience of having to reset up my wheel to my tv vs monitor is the main reason, but the overall lack of content doesn't help.

I gave the beta a shot just because the game is supposed to support limited PSVR functionality. AFAICT, the beta does not - I couldn't get it to recognize that I was using the VR headset.

Yeah, that was one of the first things I found online and tried. Didn't seem to do anything.

GT Sport. When do you actually race others during the campaign mode? So far I've only noticed lessons. I forgot how un-fun those license races were.
