Strangeblade's Thread of Wondrous Things

Strangeblades wrote:

Wow. Remember when some folks posted they've been reading my name of Strangeblades as Strangleblades in their heads?

Either my increased Zoloft medication is causing me to forget stuff or I just had a Strangeblades-Strangleblades experience.

I just noticed, right now, two seconds ago, just before a hole was blown in my door, the thread is called, Strangleblades Catch-All.

You might want to check that medication dosage.

*checking....checking....checking*

Hmph. I was right. I need MOAR!

Tagging the old way, and laughing to picture continue the work.

I can't believe I just found this thread 13 days into the Christmas special.

There will be special prizes for late-comers.

Spoiler:

That's a freakin' lie

Full frontal nudity?

You're doing it wrong

Spoiler:

On second thoughts, maybe we should just count our blessings?

Someone hold me ... I'm scared. NOT YOU STRANGEBLADES! Put some pants on!

Rejected Text 1: "Pants? Where we're going we don't need.. pants."

Rejected Text 2: "Scared of awkward family get-togethers? Let BaconCape-Man break up that party!"

Rejected Text 3: "This photo is art, darling, pure art using the bareness of one's self. I'm sorry if that's too *sniff* high-brow for you."

Rejected Text 4: "Yeah, I did community theatre. Why do you ask?"

Spoiler:

The floor is now open for suggestions on what Safe-For-Work ideas I should use in my next set of photos. You can PM me for my considerations and to keep it a surprise for the rest of those folks who find this stuff amusing.

Spoiler:

This is as cheeky as I get by the way. Yes I have pants - but are they on?

If someone were to calculate the projected path of this thread, there's no way Christmas Eve will arrive without someone having a seizure from reading these posts.

I know you don't want to know what's on the other side of this

The text is even creepier if you consider them a series...

Hmmm. You don't say...

How am I just stumbling upon this?

Strangeblades, I think you are pure genius!

Haha.... Now i have to think up some suggestions.

Incidentally, i had a dressing gown very much like yours, Strangeblades. It was black with stripes and was a hand-me-down from my Canadian relatives (i kid you not). It was very warm and comfortable and even housed a kitten in one pocket for a few weeks.

Unfortunately, my mum threw it away... otherwise i'd still be wearing it. I have a fleece one nowadays but it's not as warm or comfortable or heavy-feeling as that old towel-based one was.

Sigh. Confession time. Wait, I think every time is confession time. Anyhoo, we skip on using heat up here in Canada. Too expensive. So we live like the Stark family - minus the fur clothing. House robes are put on over our day clothes. I walk around muttering about how winter is not coming and making stupid decisions using honour as a guideline. Let's see how far that gets me!

Where was I going with this? Right, right. I use that crumb collector house coat as another blanket.

"...housed a kitten in one pocket for a few weeks" That sounds like an awesome idea for a children's book.

Me too. When i was a student, my first rented room out of uni accommodation was so cold in winter that i wore a t-shirt, one fleece, a football training "fleece" (but it wasn't fleece material) and the aforementioned dressing gown on top of each other (with gloves) when using my PC and AOL internet connection in the middle of the night posting to the IGN ACB...

I fear i might be rejected from GWJ now that my sordid past is known...

I sold out to Procter & Gamble right after my first post. Soon my brand of cool will be slathered (I love that word) across all your home food products.

She's still stuck with the cat 15-odd years on and half deaf (that's the cat, btw).

What do all these tools have in common? If you said they are for building another Large Hadron Collider I guess that means you skipped out on rotting your brain by not watching horror movies made in the '80s.

Art.

There is no guarantee those last two images are in sequence. Quick, someone confirm Lasher is OK!
