That episode confused me. :/
It's told non-sequentially, like Pulp Fiction. The comic book value is the "time stamp."
Then... at the end... it goes BACK IN TIME!?

The comic book value and Hank's Hair are the best indicators of the time line

Did you watch the very end of the credits?
Brock killing Hitler is the end of the episode. This takes place when the comic is valued at zero, Hank is clearly a teenager, and HELPR is a spider bot.
A premiere with no Monarch?! Daring. And it paid off. I thought it was great.
It was confusing.
Not being a comic geek, i didn't know what the numbers meant, I thought it was a video game score since you see Hank playing a game at one point. I couldn't tell if it was just a non-sequential episode or if Hank/Dean kept dreaming a lot of it or what.

Indeed, though I am stoked for the Monarch episode this Sunday!
It was confusing.

Yup, I was very confused till the end. Now I want to go back and watch it again. Confused but laughing the whole time. I'm excited for this season.
Looking up the value of Marvel Comics #1, neatorama lists its value at $250,000.

You should submit that to Doc Hammer's Q&A fact checking department. Good to know that 20's nerdiness has been passed down the generations.
It was confusing.
Somehow my dvr recorded the first fifteen minutes twice. That's confusing.

Let me guess: West Coast feed?
I just saw the Official Top 10 One-Shot Characters List, and no way are Nancy and Drew better than King Gorilla. They wanted the Surreal Life, KG gave it to them.
Word!
Anyhow. I was rather nonplussed by the premiere. It seemed formulaic to recap the 3 finale and to set the stage for this coming season. But there was a decided lack of too much witty dialog, the disjointed faux flashback style just infuriates me with every iteration I see it. However the Eureka Season 2 Finale was very good, in a Groundhog Way sort.
Maybe, I only told it to record the series not times.
There should be an encore at some time this week, Fridays I believe, that you can snag.
The show's structure was complex, but it worked for me. I didn't understand the comic book reference until I watched it a second time.
I watched it a 2nd time last night. Apparently they are showing the episode every night this week since they screwed up the west coast feed.
Watching it a 2nd time I laughed a lot more, especially when I keep seeing what happens to the comic book.
Squeee!
WONDERBOOOYYYYY!!!!
It's the little moments that seal it. And in this case, that little moment was the Moppets riding the mecha-caterpillar.
I think what really sold it was reading the credits and finding out who was voicing Captain Sunshine.
"suggested application is to the buttocks and inner thigh"
Awesome!
I know someone who's never playing Batman again...

Ok, quit holding out who was the voice actor? IMDB doesn't have that info up yet.

Kevin Conroy, voice actor for Batman and BAA
