No streaming service is going anywhere near them with the amount of production time they take. And, Jackson and Doc aren't going to start writing faster just because Hulu picks them up.
But don't they already have season 8 done? Pick it up just to do the, already written, season 8.
I once loved this show, but definitely got put off waiting for new seasons.
"Not worth the wait" indeed.

They were still writing when it got cancelled.
Have to disagree. The last season was great especially the teleporter episode. The halloween special was also good. The only problem I had with season 7 was it didn't have a ending.
I'm with you. I had to pause the teleporter episode, I was laughing so hard. Also, I occasionally use the words "orphan sashimi" now.
I enjoyed the show when I was introduced to it, but it definitely feels like its time has passed.
I think I disagree. I finally had the chance to watch some of Harley Quinn, which was funny, but very, very, very much had a "The Venture Bros.: Now With Branding!" vibe. I think times are just now starting to catch up to what the show was.
When's it coming out, 2029?

That soon?!?
Shamelessly stealing from comments elsewhere, but the ATHF movie has already been storyboarded on an Arby's napkin and will premiere on Thursday, so that should hold us all over.
ATHF are the original avengers. They protected the world from Carl.
Finally getting caught up through season 6 and almost finished 7. Excited about the movie. I've always loved their odd sense of humor. Glad we got at least 7 great seasons. Would love more exploring the world of the Ventures.
That reminds me I need to catch up on a sh*t load of Archer.
Yeah, I have been catching up on Archer, via Hulu.
James Urbaniak was on a recent Blank Check podcast and mentioned that the "movie" is done and is supposed to come out later this year.
And you're quite sure it was James Urbaniak, and not one of those interminable ad reads where Newman does a terrible voice for 5 minutes?
His name was in the title and everything.
I don't think they do the 'ding-dong' ad reads anymore or, if they do, I've gotten really good at ignoring them.
I think they stopped them, but I wasn't going to pass up the chance to make that inside joke and vent a little bile their way, because some of them really dragged.
Good news, though. Now we just need to count on the largess of Warner-Discovery!...
