Yeah, you can never have too much precision in your soup.

A skimmer that is filthy!

Looks to be filled with awesomeness and somewhat trippy.

I dig the David Bowie bit.

Let the Rat Boys flee the sinking ship! It's the King Fish Rat Boy we're after!

Oh, man. And here I thought I had hit that one out of the park!

Am I right guys?

If you haven't already done so, check out the Panel discussions with Doc and Jackson on the adult swim website. Priceless! I was in tears, which was awkward, because I was watching it at work, which is also school. So a student got to see me laughing hysterically with tears coming out of my eyes.

You did, of course, tell him you were grading his paper at that moment, right?

My friend and I are watching Season 3 again to get us back on track. I have nothing but the highest expectations for Season 4 and it's not my fault!

Close. I told him we were looking at his *sniff* job prospects.

I was watching the uncensored episodes on the train home; the episode with Killinger. When it gets to the dream sequence, there was no black bar. Instead, I was confronted with a giant animated penis. I gasped, which caused the old lady next to me to turn and look. She gasped. I kept watching. She changed seats.

Some animated show was on FX after "It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia" last night. Seemed to be a blatant ripoff of Venture Bros. Right down to the opening credits.

Next Sunday 11:59PM can't get here soon enough. T-minus 9 days b|tches.

This, along with Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2 coming out on the 13th, just make me wish the next three or so days would disappear.

The fact that I work from home and thus have no real weekend probably informs this wish.

It is a real banner week, some good geek consolation for me.

Brutal Legend, Uncharted 2, the return of Venture Brothers and the arrival of my copy of the Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader RPG book means next week is going to be fantastic for me! Like some sort of geek planetary alignment :).

That was Archer, the new effort from Adam Reed and Matt Thompson of Sealab 2021 and Frisky Dingo fame.

How is an inept secret agent who's boss is also his mother and who's ex/co-worker is dating his supervisor--all done in the art and style of the now defunct 70/30 Productions--a Venture Brothers rip off?

29 hour 45 minute warning.

I thought they usually streamed these things on the [adult swim] website the Friday before. Do they expect me to stay up late and watch it now?

That's what it is looking like, at least for the premiere.

OU lost, but damn it at least I have Venture brothers now.

I just saw the Official Top 10 One-Shot Characters List, and no way are Nancy and Drew better than King Gorilla. They wanted the Surreal Life, KG gave it to them.

I'm atwitter with anticipation.

Tivo, beetch. Why do you not have one? (and don't tell me about the computer and hulu and downloads- I refuse to acknowledge the existence of these things).

*** Runs for the DVR***

Wait a minute, it's on at 12 Eastern? I can watch it at nine on the HD feed. Go Team Venture!

So do you all think Hatred is Dr. Venture's new bodyguard?

QFT

That...was...AWESOME!

That was great.

Spoiler:

Breaking out Nazis on the first episode usually a bad sign.
Using Nazis trying to clone Hitler from a dog = Pure Win.

For those of you w/o cable, AS has it up now.

The comic book price rating popping up throughout the episode rules.

I let my DVR record the 12:30 episode since I had to get up early today for a job interview, but when I came home to reward myself with sweet, sweet Venture Brothers I discovered that the west coast feed screwed up and played the first half of the episode twice and never showed the second half. I watched the episode on Adultswim.com to get the full thing but jeez, what a screwup.

Double super glad I watched the East Coast HD feed.

That episode confused me. :/
