Post a video, entertain me!

To be honest, I just thought it was cute they got Finn Wolfhard to play young Rivers. :D

I didn't realize until looking into this that Fin is the guitar player and singer in a rock band, and that it was said band of his in the video.

Not strictly "his" band. Two of the members met on a video shoot, they met a third at a rock band camp, and one of them had known the drummer since second grade. It was just kind of organic. Finn did lead to their first live performance as a band, though, a charity gig. I saw an interview with German MTV they did a while back, and he mentioned that he felt bad for the rest of the band at first, because all these girls were coming to their shows to see Finn the TV & Movie star. Now, though, the band itself and his bandmates have fans of their own, so a bigger variety of fans show up to their live shows.

Ayla is pretty frickin' amazing for a 17 year old guitar player. This is from two years ago:

The first comment cracked me up. "I just threw my guitar in the street. 48 years wasted."

Calpurnia videos are worth checking out, too, if you're into the teenage bluesy garage band thing.

BTW, also in that MTV interview, they mentioned the band's name is a tribute to the character in To Kill a Mockingbird. Their first EP, released last year, is Scout.

My Finn is Wolfhard right now.

I don't know anything about playing the guitar, but I've always been impressed by Laura Lace.

Have to mention Tina S. Here she is at 14:

At 15:

17 (her newest but 2 years old at this point):

And now for something a bit different, some of the best accordion playing I've seen:

I never realized how similar an accordion can sound to a pipe organ.

Gotta say, it's a bit jarring going from Tina S. to accordion.

NSFW Language. Stick with it.

A long one, but very interesting.

Anyone with Netflix who hasn't seen Bo Burnham's Make Happy needs to drop everything and watch it right now. It is... you don't hear this said about standup much, but... it is transformative. It is so far beyond a guy on a stage with a mic telling jokes and singing funny songs. Experience it.

Holy.

I did some biking in the West desert of New Mexico this winter. It was frigid. I lasted about 10 miles before my legs--through winter-specific cycling garb--were all but numb and what sensation I had in them was just...stinging. I can't imagine cycling on the ice and camping on the Arctic Ocean.

Nine Inch Nails x The Rock-afire Explosion

And, if I'm following the breadcrumbs correctly, this was actually made by the people that build The Rock-afire Explosion?!

Not sure about the people that actually built the Rockafire Explosion, but definitely the people that own them now. From what I read a few years back, this and a few other songs were programmed in by some folks that bought the whole stage, basically, from the Showbiz Pizza location after that restaurant was shut down. This is basically set up in a guy's garage, from what I understood. Could be wrong, though, it's been a while since I looked into it and I'm probably not recalling correctly.

I tried that once, after a particularly horrible nightmare. I lasted between two and three weeks...

That’s right, I did see it somewhere before YouTube today. I put it in my watch later queue from your post!

I’m not usually interested in the 4X stuff so forgot until I came across it in my queue.
