Speaking of covers, I love this video. I watched this before I heard the original and prefer Walk Off the Earth's.
And then uh started down the hole.
This is wonderful.
Mikey has outdone himself.
If you complain about the rap, I will cut you.
(as someone in the YouTube comments pointed out, this is a man who had to relearn how to speak only a few months ago, so the fact that he can even do that is freaking amazing)
p.s. I want one of these.
In honour of Samus Returns coming out today:

I admire & appreciate him for trying, and I thought the lyrics were very clever, but it doesn't make it a good song. Like, at all. I honestly wish he would stop with the "muffle catawampus" and other non-sequitur "jokes" and stick to the analyses more. I mean, I enjoy the light-hearted nature of a lot of his videos, but it's starting to get to me how often he throws in jokes just for the sake of the jokes rather than their pertinence to his discussion.

I'm ok with the non-sequiturs. They help break up the video.
I think my favorite is still "Careless Whisper":
Featuring Dave Koz. I know, right?!?
Oh how much I got tired of that song back in HS.
Did they sneak a bit of Take Five into the middle of the song?
Edit: Funny, at the end of the video Scott unboxes a package from YT, which had a plaque commemorating 100K subscribers. PMJ has 3 million subscribers now!
Since people are in a jazz covers mood:
(note: if you own a guitar and don't want to feel like smashing it you may not want to watch the last half of that video)
Honest Trailers - Wonder Woman
Best Honest Trailer in a while!
Got an hour? Take a train ride through the desert!
Really good use of music in this trailer:
Should go without saying since it is for The Punisher but yea lots of violence.
I would love to do this. My wife would consider this a giant pile of NOPE.
I don't get what the big deal is. I've been out on one somewhere (Royal Canyon Gorge maybe, wasn't a bridge was just a little platform sticking out over the canyon), but my mom was too scared to go out on it. She had issues on a 4 story tall exterior staircase as well.

Vertigo is real, yo. It's that feeling of your legs going jelly and your stomach turning. Personally, I kind of like that jelly legs feeling, but I can understand it being a completely unwelcome sensation.
When we moved to St. Louis one of the first things I did was take my wife, Teresa, up in the arch. She is terrified of heights, but figured she would be okay. Then she ran into two issues.
She didn't realize that you got out of vessel that carries you to the top. The have an observation area at the top you walk around in. That was not cool, for her.
The second one was that she didn't realize that the Arch sways, very noticeably. She just stood in the middle of the room, terrified.
There were some kids that had no fear. The Windows lean out, so you can lean over and look straight down. These kids had climbed up on the window sil and were laying on the windows looking down. If that wasn't bad enough for Teresa, the little girl then blurted out, "Yeah, we would totally die if we fell from here! Totally!"
And she was done and ready for the journey down. She will never go back up.
The Punisher has a "guy in the chair"? Coool.

I enjoyed being up in the Arch but could have done without having to ride in an industrial size dryer cylinder with 4 or 5 other people to get up there

I used to be fine with heights, but since the Japan earthquake of 2011 have a harder time with it. Swaying really sets things off, for me at least.
It's been a little while, but this is more or less what I remember Canada being like:
Been a while since Simone Giertz came out with a new invention to make people's lives easier. Could this one be her best idea yet?
It's been a little while, but this is more or less what I remember Canada being like:
Accurate, especially since the scenes in the Granville Island market look like they're filtered photographs.

This has been kind of effective in the past.
Espresso Porn:
Regular f*cking cup of coffee.
Best Honest Trailer in a while!
I'm glad Honest Trailers are still fun, while Cinema Sins have gone up into their own backsides.
