David Harbour can do no wrong.

You've clearly not seen the latest Hellboy movie. Even he couldn't save it.

Yes. That was super bad.

Remember, opinions are like congressmen. Everyone has one, and they all stink.

I don't know what to tell you, friends --I liked that movie. Then again, as my signature says, I like everything.

Nickelback?

Roald Dahl’s Matilda: The Musical is a wonderful film that very nearly reaches Paddington 2 levels of perfection. It’s a very different take to the Danny DeVito / Mara Wilson version, probably because it’s much more centred in the British Class system, but the cast is fantastic - Emma Thompson as Trunchbull quite clearly having the time of her life - and rather remarkably all the kids also all do really really well. The songs, singing and choreography are superb too. It’s just a wonder movie and if you feeling a bit down with life at the moment and need picking up then it’s all the film you need.

We all loved it - highly recommended to catch it in a theatre if you can before it disappears to Netflix.

Nickelback?

In our house we refer to Nickelback, Creed, and a bunch of those types of bands as singing from The Book of Yarl. As in, they sound like they sing and just mush their words together into, "Yaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrlllllgggghhhh!" Eddie Vedder is the Patron Saint, but you get the idea.

Nickelback is so bad it's good.

Oh. sh*t. I've gotta see it now.

Black licorice, especially the artisanal Australian varietals, is only second in the licorice world to Scandinavian salmiak licorice. There, I said it.

I don't know, some of the brands from over in that area are TOO salty.

Mario even likes pineapple on pizza!

Spoiler:

I do too. Its delicious!

I love pineapple on EVERYTHING! The queen of fruit!

It must be nice living in your world, Mario, wherein you can ably like the 2019 Hellboy movie. and pineapple on anything. I truly envy you.

Hahaha.
I'm sure I could list a number of widely-derided movies I also like that would melt your brain, but I'll try to keep a modicum of credibility...

I hope that list include Liquid Sky.

When people argue about pineapple on pizza, they think it's putting ONLY pineapple on pizza. The proper companion to pineapple on pizza, of course, is ham! Therefore you really get that salty-sweet combo.

I'm rather partial to a pineapple, sausage, and jalapeno pizza. It has to be the right kind of sausage though.

I've grown quite fond of pineapple and chicken, for that matter. Jalapenos are always welcome too!

You monster.

Ham or Canadian bacon is great with pineapple. My son also turned me on to pepperoni and pineapple. Will have to try some of the other suggestions here.

I dream of a place that gets the genius idea to make a traditionally prepared al pastor (vertical spit and all) with pineapple pizza.

No such thing.

Wasn’t this a thread about films?

What about Licorice Pizza?

I enjoyed it. Right amount of salt.

Pepperoni and pineapple is delicious too. It is one of my go to "2 for 1" deal pizzas. The other is sausage and olive.
