Post a picture, argue with me!

My high school history teacher got stuck on the Nuremburg trials and spent 3 months going over them with us. We never even made it to the Korean war, nevermind Vietnam and beyond. Hell, we never got to the Pacific theater.

I remember being very unhappy at the time, but she had tenure.

It seemed pretty normal for schools I went to for anything after WWII to be "we'll see if there's room to fit it in."

I remember spending a lot of time on the civil rights movement. Probably because there were a lot of movies they could show that were acceptable for school, unlike Vietnam. I'm pretty sure the word "Korea" was never uttered.

To be fair, a tyrant could kill more.

But Then again, it's hard to use guns against president trumps drone strikes.

So I guess the cartoon shows that the 2nd amendment has been an amazingly effective deterrent for tyranny thus far.

I remember a comedy routine back in the 1980's where someone posited that the best way to prevent airline terrorism was to carry your own bomb aboard. The idea being that the chances of two folks independently bringing explosives aboard a plane had to be astronomically unlikely.

It's not the Flying Rotini Monster for a reason. Duh.

To be fair though, the "rungs" on a DNA helix are indeed spaghetti shaped.

Wait, if the Flying Spaghetti Monster created all life, isn't that Creationism?

If you say so, most of the self-identifying Pastafarians I've known in the last few years were so humorousness about this stuff that they wouldn't see the irony of that statement.

Nice. Score another one for the Merriam-Webster Twitter account.

I just heard a radio ad about consent today, so we're moving in the right direction.

Apparently it was the Trump Cafe, not the Grill... as Milo/Breitbart made sure everyone knew.

The silent majority stands with Trump? Haaaaaaaa haha.

Yeah, ok.

That said, that's a lot of white folks behind him. I thought all the blacks and latinos loved him?

Has he started spending his own money yet? Last I heard, he hadn't spent a dime on any of this...though that was a while ago.
