Is there a release schedule for PS+?
I got it for my Vita a couple of days ago, I've downloaded Uncharted, MK and Big Sky Infinity (i think that's what it's called.) That'll keep my busy for a bit
But I wanna know - if the info is out there - what's going to be free next month, or the month after - I don't want to buy Motorstorm for the vita and it be free a couple of weeks later for example.

Game announcements depend on which region your account is in. The UK blog posts one big list for the coming month. The US Playstation PS+ announcements are done weekly the day before the store updates.

Thanks for the info, Ill try and find the blog - I am in the UK BTW.

Thank you all, I guess that was my fault. I did not even think to D/L the demo that was there. I was thinking I wanted to full game not the demo.

That is not explained very well, thank goodness I have you guys Thanks, I will D/L the demo tonight!

Store got an update. Things seem to load faster, and the page transfers are definitely improved. Still needs more work, but it's decent now.

Darksiders (the first game) is coming to PSN apparently. One less reason to buy a new 360 I guess (my 360 is currently out of commission).

I have Darksiders on PC as well. I wonder which would be the better fit for the game.

Console. Can't imagine it being any good with M&K.

Or just play it on PC with your controller. Looks prettier and controls the same.

There's still a significant difference in games better suited on a couch and those better played directly in front of a monitor. I think this may seem a silly difference for a lot of people, but for me it's a sizable difference between the medium in which to play certain games.

And that's what HDMI cables and Steam Big Picture mode are for.

dissposablehero, not sure if you are still looking for it but the blog that announces the UK (and other EU regions) PS plus release list is at http://blog.eu.playstation.com/. Their last PS plus post is http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2012/... which contains some games which aren't up yet (for example Jet Set Radio should be up on the PS Vita tomorrow).

Feb update shouldn't be too far away

Was just gonna google the blog when I say your link, nice one for that.

Is Jet Set Radio any good?

I'll probably get that pinball game when it comes out on +, been looking for one on the PC that's any good, so that for free will do me nicely.

Darksiders looks to be a PS+ freebie.

Will refrain from asking if it's any good... for now.

I'm looking forward to the pinball one on the vita too, should be fun. I haven't played jet set radio before but I have heard good things so i will betraying it out at least.

Just loading up my PS3 and I noticed the god of war - ascension beta is out. I'm not a big god of war fan but, hey it's free so it's downloading at the moment. Has anybody checked it out?

But what about the noise of the massive fan in my PC? My PS3 is almost silent the majority of the time but my PC sounds like a jet engine! My partner won't allow the thing in the living room so PS3 is my only option for playing games on my 60' TV.

That sounds like a partner problem, not a PS3/PC problem.

I'll just say that War is a massive Bronie... summoning his horse wherever he wants. What does he think this is, the Apocalypse??

It was a real embarrassment to all the other riders. They begged him to change, but it was to no avail. Because War... War never changes.

I really, really want to say that it's great, because I loved it so much the first time around, but the controls just make it far too hard, by today's standards.

Don't forget that PS+ members have access to the God of War Ascension multiplayer beta now. I tried it the other night, and it's good fun. You can't do all the insane 100+ hit combos you can in the single player, but it does capture the brutality of God of War with the same visual-reaction skill in a competitive setting. Put simply, when I died I didn't think that I'd been cheaply killed, it was definitely the result of my making the wrong choice.

Give it a try, highly recommended.

That's the beauty of letting PSN download promotional games/betas for you. I probably wouldn't've given GOW multiplayer a chance if I had to choose to download/install it myself. But it's been sitting in my XMB for a time now. I might as well play it!

It'd be nice if they gave us the option to extend that to all free games that appear on the service. (just got a new hard drive for my first-gen ps3, so it seems like I have unlimited space now...). Make it more magical to just turn on the PS3 on Wednesday night and see if any new games are immediately ready to play.

I read that's a planned feature for an upcoming PSN update. Or at least I think that's what it meant, all it said was "automatic downloads".

You guys, Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is now available for PSP/Vita. You should give it a look. I posted this in the Vita thread, too, I am not above shamelessly plugging such a weird and cool franchise.

New 500GB hard drive, White PS3 system coming later this month, with a year of PS+ included.

Pre-order on Amazon.

From the PS blog, the year of PS+ stacks with existing subscriptions.

Finally put a new hard drive in my PS3. It was great to see how many free games there are for plus members. I wasn't too thrilled about the extremely slow download speed though.

I'm going to be buying a PS3 mostly because I'm an idiot but also because I want to play Ni No Kuni. It'll probably be the fancy white one that's coming out in ten days (the white reminds me of the PS1 which is the last Sony platform I really loved).

What's the situation with sharing saves between Vita and PS3? Specifically PS1 saves. I'm assuming I can play my PS1 games on PS3...

You can. I don't know if the Vita has made it any easier, but with the PSP I could hook up my PSP as a USB device to the PS3 and transfer saves.

With PS+, your Vita and PS3 all sync up in the magical cloud. It's very convenient. You can transfer or backup saves and data to the PS3 via a USB cable. You can backup saves and data to your PC via a USB cable or Wi-Fi.
