Playstation 4 Games Catch-All

Yeah. My current hard drive is corrupted, so I wouldn't be able to save anything anyway. I may have to give this a shot in the neat future since I'm going to have a plus subscription.

This is one of the main reasons I love PS+ - cloud sync all saves games and never have to worry about he failure or loss of save games through a stolen machine etc.

I keep poking my head into this thread even though can't necessarily justify springing for a PS+ subscription. The cloud saves would be great to have, but I don't have time to play the games I already have, much less all those giveaways.

Mostly I'm just posting to say that my friends list is fairly slim. Don't be surprised to see friend requests from thebeex in the near future.

Oh my, Uncharted on Vita is a big one. Gravity Rush is only 1.5 gb though. Nice.

Jet Set Radio's download weighs just shy of 1.1GB.

So, anyone try Sony Music Unlimited? A year subscription is only $12 for PS+ subscribers right now.

I haven't yet, but have been tempted. That price is super cheap. I like Spotify (which I haven't paid for yet) b/c of the "apps" in it that make automatic playlists.
I need to look into this Sony service more to see if it can do things similarly.

Europe don't get Jet Set Radio free on Plus, or FFT, or Wipeout. We get Chronovolt instead. No sign of Sonic 1 and 2, either. All in all, not too impressed with the Plus launch on Vita.

But you did get Uncharted, Gravity Rush, and Mutant Blobs? Honestly, that right there is enough for a major success, regardless of the extra swag.

Every month won't be that good but, seriously, it doesn't take much at all to be worth $4-5 a month.

I bought them all before. There was little else to buy, so I am guessing most early adopters will be in the same boat. JSR and FFT would have made my day, as it is, I'm disappointed. Plus is still well worth it overall, of course.

This first batch is probably to draw people in more than to reward early adopters.

I bought Sine Mora and tried it a bit. It's excellent. I went back to playing P4G, though.

I only played the demo, but loooooooooooooooooved it. Since I have Uncharted and GR along with P4 I'm holding off (for the Steam sale).

Sonic 1 & 2 are PS3 only, the advertisement wasn't clear on this but you can find them under Freebies on the PS3 store.

Oh, thanks. Bit odd in some ways; they would be great on Vita.

I did the exact same thing. It was fun though.

I tried to buy SM - paid more than was necessary and have ended up with a trial copy that will not unlock on the Vita.

It seems that Sony screwed up the Euro release, made an error in pricing and many early buyers are now in a situation where they paid over the odds and only have a trial version to show for it

I'm sure if it were up to Sony they would have been, but this is all Sega. That's probably part of the reason it wasn't clearly advertised either, I'm sure Sega didn't want to pay to advertise 2 Sonic games for free, and Sony is trying to push All Stars and P4G.

EDIT: After learning about manually syncing saves to the cloud on Vita, I did this on PS3. I was surprised to see that Dark Souls, Demon's Souls, and Heavy Rain cannot be synced to the cloud. Everything else could, even demo save data for Trine and others, but not those 3.

Eh, my Dark Souls save is synced to the cloud during the overnight update every time I play.

ditto

Some games can't be backed up to another HD. Is that the confusion here?

No, I was doing a manual sync to cloud storage. I chose Select Many, and all 3 of the mentioned games were greyed out. Maybe there's another way to set them to sync, like when the system prompts you upon playing a game, but through manual sync to cloud storage they are not an option.

Why do I even buy games anymore? I was musing about buying Arkham City and Vanquish recently - glad I didn't! I'm actually thinking that I may end up not buying any games for the Vita - I'll have enough to play just from PS+. I already have a half-dozen Vita games (I had stuff like Hustle Kings and Motorstorm RC from earlier), a half-dozen PSP games, 20+ PS1 games, and 50+ minis that I'd be interested in playing.

Edit: Oh, I missed that this was the European lineup. Still, the US one is usually similar enough.

Picked up a PS3 for Black Friday (thread about here: www.gamerswithjobs.com/node/113765). I'm actually looking forward to signing up for PS+. Regardless of the month to month content, it seems well worth the cost in terms of the games that are offered throughout the year.

Yeah, + is definitely worth it. Are you going by farktopia?

I won't be opening it until Christmas- but I'll probably go with demonbox. That some networks have me as farktopia only causes confusion to my cloudy brain.

Reserve your handle.

So I found out that Sony Music Unlimited had The Hobbit soundtrack, even though it won't come out on iTunes or on CD for a few more weeks. That put me over the edge, and I went ahead and purchased the premium subscription for a year for $12. Its been nice so far. I'm still figuring out the PS3 interface and the iPhone app works well, but there's no iPad native app.
