It seems today is the last day of the Canadian Penny. No longer will I receive a Canadian penny in the US as change because someone was to lazy to pick it out or take it home.
It took a while, but our government finally realized that spending 1.6 cents to mint a 1 cent coin doesn't make any damn sense. I certainly won't miss 'em.

I won't miss the penny at all, it was a waste of resources but now there's a MP who has brought forth a motion to eliminate the nickel as well and apparently replace is with 10, 20 and 50 cent coins I think. Like, what?
