What a cluster. My card got charged this morning and it says this on my order.

I click on "view invoice" and get this.

So I checked my statement and I paid the full amount via PayPal on June 30th, 2012. My order also lists it the same and gets the same error. I'm guessing the server error is due to them being slammed by everyone. I'm hoping the name "SOLD OUT" is just a designation and not telling me that the item for which I paid in full on the day it was announced isn't coming to me...

I went to the "official" forum on the Namco-Bandai site, and the short version is, "lol Digital River, they are a mess, don't expect any customer service and hope it shows up." Apparently they did oversell during the second run so if you did not order during the first run or roughly the first two hours of the second run, you're probably screwed.

Long version, including contact info for Digital River, acts of desperation, and lots of how you aren't the only one suffering: http://www.namcobandaigames.com/comm...

I've pretty much decided I'm desperate and stupid enough to pick this up at GameStop on the way home; and if/when a Wizard's Edition shows up, I will return or sell used the extra copy. I mean, it looks as though I'll be waiting until next week at absolute best.

My experience with them and Darksiders 2 was as such: game was shipped on Monday, tracker told me it was delivered to the wrong address (somewhere in Maryland) Tuesday. I went out and bought a copy, figuring I wouldn't see mine for a while, and I'd do the same trick you're considering.

My copy arrived Wednesday.

So I'd maybe give it a day.

I'm seriously not trying to profit off others' misfortune, it sucks that Digital River f-ed up yet another release, but if anybody does wind up with a Wizard's Edition they don't want I will gladly pay you cash money for it.
