NFL Playoff Bonanza Contest

I can see Seattle getting past Atlanta. I can see them getting past the 49ers maybe. I cannot see NE getting past Denver.

Anyone rooting for NE is the Devil!!!

If you sell me your soul, I will grant the Eagles a Super Bowl title.

I picked New England, but if my bracket busts, there's no way I want New England anywhere near New Orleans.

I moved to Boston from Bills territory this summer. It's a lot more fun to watch a team with direction and talent each Sunday. I'm cheering for NE, but I'm not thoroughly invested. I also have to spend time with the hyper-critical Boston sports fans and would not prefer to experience another off-season of lament. I guess that makes me the devil, but I'm okay with that.

That was the sound of a ton of brackets taking one huge Mile High dump.

Yeah Denver in the SB not happening, but at least I had them losing it... maybe not completely out...

Only Fed picked Houston in the SB. Maybe 49ers over Texans I can still win?

My bracket pretty much just got hosed.

I'm running the same game at work with 16 people. Green Bay/Denver killed most of the brackets, I have many paths to the prize.

No so much here, I need to keep winning my picks. If I don't go 5 for 5 here on out, I am out, and I only lost the game that everyone else lost with me. Sheesh.

*EDIT*
That's a testament to the fine players at GWJ

Well that's all for me in this pool.

Now I'm rooting for winner of atl sea game tomorrow. Former Cal Bears abound on both those teams.

Wow. So absolutely no one had Baltimore making it to the AFC Championship Game?

Wow.

They lost four of their last five. The only win was against a Giants team that didn't even show up.

Yeah they were not exuding confidence.

Well no. 1 person did. They just had Baltimore beating Cincinnati to get there. Everyone had Denver winning their 2nd round game.

*EDIT*
I stand corrected, I'm confusing this contest with my work one. Between both contests, all 42 people had Denver winning, and only 1 person had Baltimore moving on to the AFC Championship................against Denver................who they picked to win the Super Bowl

Go Texans!

I totally forgot how bad Pete Carroll can be as a game-time coach. I'm mathematically eliminated.

Here's the updated standings, only 4 people are eligible to win, thanks to Denver losing.

As the guy who benifited the most from that loss, I thank John Fox for piss-poor football from the 4th quarter on.

Since I went to the first one on Thanksgivings last year and as Kush can atest, my last name is Harbaugh. Throw in that I am a 49er fan. I might have to see that game in person than through the TV set.

So it's down to me, shag, and Kush after today's early game?

And then there were two... come on defensive Super Bowl!

I forgot to put in the scenario if Baltimore beats San Francisco, which would mean I take it.

Current Bonanza Standings

San Francisco over Baltimore (47 points or more): Shag wins
San Francisco over Baltimore (46 points or less): Stele wins
If Baltimore wins: Kush15 wins

Well naturally the 49ers have to win. We don't lose Super Bowls.

+1

Neither do the Ravens.

Before last night, New England was (4-0) in AFC Championship games in New England. How did that work out for them?

5-0 is a lot different than 1-0.

Tom Brady was something like 67-0 when playing with a halftime lead at home.

Until last Sunday. The bigger the first number, the more heart-breaking it is when the "1" gets added to the end of the record

Well ESPN is reporting SF by 3.5 and over/under at 48. Guess I need the under.

The only thing that matters now is a 49er win. Anything else is just toppings on the cake!
