Utility to Combine PDF Pages

I'm currently using Bullzip Printer to print to PDF. But if there are multiple sources to be printed - for example a tax filing and a receipt for such filing - I end up with multiple documents. I'd like to be able to combine them like you can with Acrobat Professional. But I don't need that functionality enough to justify the ridiculous cost of Acrobat.

So I'm looking for a cheap/free utility to combine pages from multiple PDFs into a single file. A quick Google search turns up a whole bunch. As with any free utility though, I feel more comfortable using something that you guys have experience with and know isn't malware.

I use something at work. I'll have to dig it up (since I'm not at work). It's command line only though since I run it as part of a script I wrote.

I only mention it without more information since a command line app may not be what you are looking for.

Edit: ah, here it is - PDFToolkit

I've been using the PDF-Xchange viewer for a while now instead of Acrobat, and it seems good enough quality. They've got a bunch of stuff that has trials: http://www.tracker-software.com/prod...

Late to the party, but I really like pdfsam (pdf split and merge). It is free and allows you to do a wide range of operations to pdfs.
