ATI Eyefinity to add TV as 3rd Monitor

I've got two 1920x1200 DVI attached desktop monitors currently attached to a AMD 6950. I want to also use my long 25" HDMI cable to output to TV to play games on. From what I understand, to go to three monitors, I need to move one to an active Displayport adapter (monitors aren't Displayport capable).

Is that right? Only one to play games on one monitor at a time.

Was thinking about ordering this.

That is correct..

Has a handy page that you can select your monitors and desired activity.. it will spit out what you need.

I got it solved. I actually got the adapter, then it wouldn't work with my long HDMI cable. After much testing of various ways to hook things up, I decided the cable was bad. I have it working now.

I was wondering why this was bumped. Thanks spammer!

This thread seems a convenient place to ask, albeit for Nvidia in my current case.

Is there a way to set a third monitor as a duplicate of my primary without disabling the second? It seems like it should be a simple thing, but I'll be damned if I've found a way to make it work.
