FF2012: GWJFFL Week 14

It's playoff time!

Thursday: Broncos at Raiders

Or consolation time.

Can't believe I started the Dynasty season off 2-7 (6 consecutive losses week 4-9) and then rattled off wins in the last 4 weeks to clinch the division.

Here goes nuttin' Not sure I will make it through the first round if Percy Harvin doesn't come back.

My matchup in Gold is scary. Our projected scores are 185 to 178...

That's us!!! Yeah, you would think if one team scored 178 points, that it would be more than enough to win, lol. I've got the 185, and I'm still scared, knowing my team could sh*t the bed. Good luck this week!

BTW, I think I'm going to make it a New Year Resolution to be more active on the boards next season. I'm very active as far as my team is concerned, but I never get out here and talk shop as much as I'd like to.

This week is crazy, I only have to set 1 of my normal 4 rosters. The other 3 have byes (one in the consolation bracket of Platinum).

I am in the tough spot of being a pats fan yet having foster and the Texans Defense.

You would think so but luckily them winning most of the time makes it way easier.

Knowshon Moreno gave me a nice 27 points last night. That's the most I got all year from a RB and I just picked him up last week.

Meanwhile my kicker got 1 point because the Raiders can't even get enough yardage for stinking FGs. What kicker ever gets 1 point? Just my luck.

Wow I know its early, but basically my entire team is playing in the early games. Jermaine Gresham, Dez Bryant and Julio Jones all have zero points.. and they're not even my lowest score.. thank you Bryce Brown with -2 points!

Its like the Falcons or the Chargers.. look good during the reg season then fold in the playoffs!

Holy hell the Seahawks D is killing it.

I'm surprised Tempest isn't on here lamenting the fact that he didn't start David Wilson.

Edit: also, 195 points scored in Gold this week

In my non GWJ-league, I played the Seahawks D and Cam Newton. Those two outscored my opponent by 13. My other roster spots are just insurance for next week. (2-week playoff format).

Best fantasy day ever.

Unbelievable points from Seattle D! Talk about a statement game by them!

Farewell thoughts of a championship! See you next year!

I'm done 40 points with Welker and Foster left. If any two players on my team are going to combine for 41, it's those two but I'm probably going to lose. I had a promising start to the season but I got Romo'd. And, Torrey Smith is dead to me. I'll never draft him unless he gets traded to a good team.

I need lots of Patriot defensive points and lots of Gostkowski field goals tomorrow night.

I need 28 points from Foster to win and he is running against my favorite team with playoff implications..... oy vey.

Yeah I need Steven Ridley to get 17.1 points. He can do it and has done it multiple times this season. Just not going to happen against the Texans.

Need Arian Foster to be terrible. By the powers of Belicheck Patriots D!

Well. Certainly glad I stated the Seattle D this week.

Holy jesus. 45 points in my league that I was smart enough to start them in.

Baring some miracles from Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels I am out. Other mistake I made was playing Luck and not Matt Ryan this week.

Ah well, now can watch my giants without the nagging FF points in the back of my head like when Hakeen Nicks gets a TD and then I remember my opponent has him in :/

Yeah, I was down by about 50 going into the 4:00 games, with 4 players left, including Brees and Bradshaw. The only one left for you: Seattle's defense.

Good morning, good afternoon, 8 Turnovers and 2 TDs, and good night.

As a professional football team, how in the hell do you lose 58-0?

Weren't the Patriots beating the Titans 59-0 at the half a few years back?

It ain't over till its over. I wavered back and forth between Nicks and Sidney Rice and kept switching one in for the other up until about 10 mins before kickoff. It didn't look like it was going to matter, but all 3 of my WRs decided to do something in the 2nd half of their games to make my score a bit more reasonable.

As a pats fan I will gladly take the loss if this continues.

Three touchdowns and none of them to Welker. I hate you Tom Brady.

Well looks like I'm going to hold on in Silver.

Of course with Dez Bryant potentially done for the season and Hakeem Nicks constantly banged up, my biggest strength this season is turning into a weakness.
