FF2012: GWJFFL Week 13

I'm going to try to get some standings posted here. Today.

Edit: But the boss needs to go home first.

Thanks for the tip.

Hope I can beat Rabbit with my major RB and WR out on injury.

It will be an epic battle for sure. I'll be sitting on twitter slinging sh*t all day sunday.

Can we pick people up after this weeks games before next week starts?

Since I have clinched my division in Plat but have no chance for the bye I think I will sit all my guys this week so they don't get hurt.

*Looks at this week's opponent*

Excellent idea. You should definitely do that.

Sigh.

I can't even play spoiler this week as the person I am going against is *also* eliminated.

Important: The free agent acquisition period ends with the regular season. This means that whatever team you have at the end of week 13 is the one you'll be taking with you to the playoffs. You may want to pick up a backup tight end.

BYE WEEK: NO TEAMS ON BYE

Thursday: Saints at Falcons

Well, it was sad to cut Andre Brown. I am going to wait a week before I put David Wilson in the mix. Can't wait to see what he can do against the Redskins on Monday.

Glad Bryce Brown slipped to me in Silver.. I'll actually give him the rock this week. With DeSean out, my flex spot is a revolving door between Sidney Rice, Vick Ballard, Brandon Stokley and now Bryce. Even if this is his last week starting, keeping the other owner's mitts off him is good enough. Can't take that FAAB money anywhere, might as well blow as much as I can.

Silver playoff teams are set, but the byes and seeds are still up in the air. I lost H2H to the 2 other division leaders I'm tied with so I think I need a W and those teams to lose, and I need to stay ahead of TBA's team for the overall PF lead in order to get the bye.

Uh, please don't. Please.

I dropped a boatload on Michael Bush in GWJFFLK just to have a backup running back worth a damn to pair with Jamaal Charles during the playoffs. Now it looks like Forte and / or Murray may play, and I'm hoping to keep at least 3 of them as starting options through the FF playoffs.

I've got 3 top tier receivers hurt as well, but at least 2 of my starters are still golden. Picked up a lot of people on the waiver wire this year, and I haven't checked their prices lately, but I'm hoping that means good things for keeping next year as well. Keeping 2 top tier TE's from last year has proven to be hugely beneficial.

Wow, what a week for Matt Ryan and Roddy White to lay a giant egg. Need a win in Gold and Keeper, have them both on both teams... Guess I don't need to bother watching games this Sunday.

Yeah I came here to say the same. Matt Ryan had a really garbage day. His worst of the year. I knew I should have put Luck in. 18/33 is awful...

I wasn't able to watch the game so not sure if it was Ryan, or the WRs, or the NO D, but since I have Julio Jones, I blame Matt Ryan for Julio's very pedestrian stat line.

Lance Moore did ok for me this week. he is always so hit or miss.

Brees TD streak is over so it wasn't great for him either! (or his owners 12 points)

Ugh picked up the Bengals Sanu and he is already out with a fracture before his 1st time on my bench

Ok, Ryan Broyles or Jared Cook for flex play this week?

Broyles.
He was good to Landry.

This will be the first week that I will have 3 RBs in. James Jones just isn't getting catches anymore and Percy Harvin is still out.

And Broyles goes down in the 1st quarter.

Looks like my come back to get in the playoffs comes to an end as Cobble kills my hopes.

Cobble is sorry.

Don't be sorry. One man's exit from playoff contention means someone else gets a shot.

Although it's looking like kaos is the one who will get the shot.

Why so sad? What have I ever done to you?

Looks like I will win the division by a mere 9 points! Not sure if thats true because I don't exactly know how it works.

Rabbit and I are both 3-1 in the division. I beat him and he beat me. Same overall record as well.

I need Pierre Garcon to get 22 points in Gold to avoid missing the playoffs eventhough I have the most total points in the league...

I need Lawrence Tynes to get 20 points in Keeper for me to sneak in on a tiebreaker in in that league.

The points scored from yesterdays games haven't been included yet and Rabbit will pass you in PF once its all calculated and that's the next tiebreaker so I think he'll end up as the division champ.

Barring some miracle, looks like I'll land as the #4 seed so one of you gets the privilege of playing me next week

I've never had as many receivers crap the bed in one week as this week.

Eric Decker, multiple leagues. Torrey Smith, multiple leagues. Ryan Broyles, Roddy White, Justin Blackmon, Jeremy Maclin.

Maclin, at a whopping 6.8 points, was the star of the group.

Thank god for Tony Romo and Bryce Brown in Keeper, they won the game for me and clinched my division title. Unfortunately, I think the Decker/Smith/Broyles triumvirat just cost me a first round bye in Dynasty.

Of course, my guys in Platinum all came to play - the one league where I already had the division plus first round bye in the bag. :/
