And Michigan loses again.
Also Tennessee and Alabama fighting to get off the bubble. 33-all early in the 2nd half.
Tennessee looked like a bad middle school basketball team today. I think they will still make it to the tourney but I fully expect them to be one and done. The only way I see them not making it is if Alabama beats Florida.
Well, I'm glad KU finally put this game to rest. It was a tough game and ISU never went away, but Kansas had a nice run in the second half that got their lead to 16, which was enough to weather ISU comebacks. Defiintiely a better game than the score indicates.
Will be rooting for ISU in the tourney, as I really like their team. Maybe they will get a fourth shot at Kansas?
Oh sh*t Kentucky
That might have knocked them out of the NCAA tournament.
So Wisconsin beats Indiana for the 12th time in a row. Bo Ryan owns Tom Crean.
Keep in mind that Indiana was one of the worst teams in the conference from 2008-09 to 2010-11. In fact, with a record of 8-46 over those three seasons they were the worst team. They were respectable last year but they were still only 11-7.
Oh I know they were bad. But still, 3-0 this year, including @Indiana, when the Hoosiers are supposedly so great.
2-0. Big Ten doesn't have balanced scheduling.

If we can get back on a shooting streak we could do some damage. May our paths have few Hamptons and Northern Iowas Good luck everyone!
Welp Tennessee's bubble burst. Can't say they deserved it after playing like sh*t in the SEC tourney. I am very surprised MTSU made it after not winning the Sun Belt.
Bwahaha Cal sneaks in as a 12 seed and gets to play UNLV down the highway in San Jose! Couldn't have asked for much better. Of course we've already lost to UNLV @home by 1 so this is going to be a struggle no matter what.
Unfortunately i doubts an make the game. If we survive to Saturday ill be there!
Kansas is looking at North Carolina or Villanova in round two, which should be fun, regardless. But you have to think CBS is hoping for UNC.
I'm actually hoping Mizzou might win two games if SLU get get to the Sweet 16 and dump Mizzou. It would make for some also sports talk radio here. But really, I think Mizzou won't get out of the 1st round.
I'm really looking forward to the Billikens making a run. It's such a great blue collar type of team. No stars, but fantastic work ethic and team play. After NMSU, they look a the winner of Oklahoma State and Oregon.
Mad props to the Mountain West Conference for getting 5 of 9 teams into the Big Dance, hopefully they can all make a nice deep run.
So... Kentucky lost at Robert Morris in the opening round of the NIT tonight. From pre-season #3 and defending champs... how far the mighty have fallen.
...
I've got no pity for Kentucky but it does suck that a 1 seed in the NIT has to play a road game in the first round.
Tennessee put out of the NIT and not a single f*ck was given.
Seriously what's the point of the NIT, why does it even exist?
Hey, you want to talk worthless basketball tournaments? t.u. was knocked out of the CBI in the first round! Go Houston Cougars!
I'm down with the NIT, though. The Aggies hadn't had a post-season in forever, and then in Billy Gillispie's first year as coach we made the NIT. It was cool. My family tripped to Chicago for the second round, and I even brought my girlfriend of the time.
We're now married with two kids, and it's ALL BECAUSE OF THE NIT!
(No, not really.)
But still, March Madness!
I know, I can't keep my mind on my work. Good thing the big game* is on tomorrow evening or I'd be a wreck.
*for me anyway
Yeah it's nice that Louisville is playing at night this year.
But still, this March Madness On Demand feed is fantastic. Looks great, and they offer you to switch to other games when they hit the last 4 minutes, just so you don't miss the end.
Kind of feel bad for our contingent of Kansas fans here that have to wait until 10pm Fri night, for the last game, to get things started.
Atl-Tab has been my friend, but it's Duck time here in my office so it's ok to now watch a game for a while.

You know, I used to get so invested in Kansas during the tourney that when they lost a game, I lost all interest in the rest of the tournament. It was stupid, but I couldn't get excited about other teams when KU was out. So having a schedule like this was fantastic - it meant I could enjoy two full days of games before having to worry about watching KU.
Nowadays, I don't mind as much if/when they get knocked out, so I still enjoy the rest of it. But I still don't mind not having to think about KU for awhile. Watching them play in the tourney is never better than 50% joy, 50% stress/anxiety.
I still feel like you used to feel, Boudreaux, except that since the Aggies haven't made it the last two years, I haven't really watched the last two tournaments.
I'm the same way. Football season ended when Cal embarrassed itself at Oregon State this last year, and Mens Basketball will end if Cal gets eliminated. I may check scores but I watched zero bowl games this year. For about 24 hours after a Cal football loss I'm on sports-media blackout because I don't even want to be reminded of the loss. By Monday I'll read recaps and opinions from the Cal blogosphere, but that first 24 hours is always a time of malaise.
I'm coming on 20 years removed from graduating... Old Bitter Blue here.
