A personal announcement, emphatic thank-you, and cheers to Fedora.

Much luck for the rest of this journey, and remember you ain't walkin' this road alone (sorry, I'm watching Rango as I type this).

You would think that such a positive reaction would make me feel good, but I'm just getting more terrified than I have been of all of this. I have basically the exact opposite feeling today than I did yesterday and I don't know why. Maybe it's because I started down this road and know that I have to finish it, and that there will be unavoidable potholes, or maybe even burning bridges, along the way... I don't know. I'm just suddenly way more reluctant and scared.

Let's gamify this for you.

I think you are doing the right thing, even if some of your family react badly. I hope you are pleasantly surprised when it comes to it but, even if people get angry now, it doesn't mean that they won't come around in the future. You've started the process now. Just take it a step at a time and do what you feel is the right thing at each stage. That's all you can do.

WTG you two..

...Now go out and get some!

What the what! You get achievements for being gay?

So, uh, anyone into bearded 31-year olds in reasonably good shape?

Eh, it was better than Fabulous Company 2. What were they thinking?

I would have also accepted: How do I get out of this chicken-sh*t outfit, anyway?

Don't toy with me, Sally. You might regret it.

Depends. What's the TA ratio on it?

DAMMIT! I wanted that one.

Well, you did recommend me a beard trimmer - or should I say man-scaper.

Uhm.

Dude.

Have you seen Rubb Ed? Phoenix Rev? My boyfriend? GWJ seems to have a high ratio of dudes into hirsute dudes, so you may want to watch what you say

Is this also Sally's coming out party?

This one - it was a great deal and a solid recommendation.

The only thing is once I 1k'd gayness, I would just trade it in for the new hotness. Unless there was DLC planned, I suppose.

So ... yes? For the achievements. I guess that's the new word for "experimentation."

This amazing thread has 10 pages, but no hattez....

Bear in mind that some of those late game, high-ratio cheevs can take a long time and a lot of practice to grind out. I mean, I've met folk who've been gay for years and haven't got them all yet.

This thread just took its inevitable turn from super-awesome to mega-awesome.

Mike & Fedora: wow, can't believe I'm so freakin' late to the party on seeing this thread, but I wanted to give mad props to both of you for having the courage to be true to yourselves. Internet high-fives to both of ya, as well as props to Certis & Elysium for founding the kind of community where you guys would be comfortable getting to know people well enough for your personal journeys.

Not to continue a derail... but yeah. Me too. I got super annoyed with my trimmer about a week ago and just flat out stopped using it. Which I imagine showed pretty obviously when I was at Penguincon. I hated that hair yanking little piece of crap.

Although... I guess manscaping is as good a derail as any for this thread

Seeing this

and then this

made me do a spit take. And I liked the coffee I was drinking, thank you very much...

Has anyone mentioned that this is the best community ever?

Why am I still heterosexual if there are no achievements in it? I mean, I've been married for around 12 years, it's not like I still have much of a sex life at this point.

But she has!

I just could not not reply. So sorry...really...sorry.....
