[Star Wolves cover]

Heh, that's pretty funny.

...

Oh dear God, that's actually the real cover of the game.

Hehehe, awful cover, fun game.

It is cold in space. Obviously.

But not TOO cold...

FTFY.

Apparently it smells like burnt metal, too.

Someone's been messing with the life-support settings again. And maybe also embezzled half of the money that was supposed to be spent on uniforms.

The best thing about microgravity is how perky all boobs look.

I love how one is trying to look all sultry with one eye while the other looks freaking annoyed.

"Star Wolves 2: Try and earn enough to buy a whole shirt!"

"And Another Chair!"

I mean f*ck, you have a whole dang mothership in the game that can hold multiple fightercraft, you'd THINK they could put another chair up in that bitch, and maybe some blankets or spaceheaters?! Them bitches is cold!

"and bras!"

Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there Geronimo, let's not get crazy now...

Yeah, how is space wolves 2? Only played the first and it didn't hook me.

And yes without even knowing the game I'm guessing it's the trope below.

Learning about that was really funny, some adventure game can't remember.

The core gameplay is essentially unchanged in all three games, so if that's what you didn't like, no need to check it out. You have a mothership and fighters, and together you kill things and level up your pilots. What the 2nd game adds is a more open universe, so while there's a linear storyline like in the first game, there are also side quests here and there. I've enjoyed all three games a lot, but I might be in the minority.

Speaking of, you can get SW2 in this bundle with a bunch of other games for about $7-8 right now:

I'm just glad suspenders make a big comeback sometime in the far, far, far sexy future.

VERY neat, thanks for sharing!

For all those wondering about Distant Worlds, and decrying the lack of a demo - here's another Let's Play series for you to have a watch of, to see if it might appeal. This guy (Das24680) does really good LP series, and his earlier series of DW got me into the game.

He does make an interesting point in passing, which I agreed with the more I thought about it. This game does work better for you if you think of it as a 'space opera' as opposed to a traditional 4x, and does generate interesting stories...those who watched his previous DW series will remember him spending ages hunting down an unkillable pirate ship.

Das is good. I'm subscribed to him and the dude puts out a ton of content.

Yeah, Lord knows how he's managing to do LP series of Distant Worlds and Dominions 3 at the same time.
