I'm gonna have to print some of these out. For example:

Khan Academy is so great. I'm tutoring a high school junior in Calculus and watching the videos has given me so many great ideas. I really need to get my own kids started with this stuff. Man, I wish we had materials like this when I was in school.

In a meeting today, someone mentioned Woot.com, and the fact that they're having a Woot-Off right now.

Coworker: What's a woot-off? *type,type, type* Oooooohhh!

That reaction was priceless.

Unless I screwed something up badly, I'll never have to take another damned USMLE test ever again! Hurrah!

Congratulations, Coldstream! Good job, man.

Yes, and it's probably going to fall off.

Thanks, all!

That feeling when a particularly frustrating project finally compiles without error.

edit: Thought I posted this earlier, guess not - Congrats Coldstream!

Congratulations Coldstream!

Congrats, Coldstream! It won't be long before you long for the days when all you had to do was study for a test.

I've had it a week or so now, but I still really love my new gold icon, it never fails to make me smile! Excellent work Elysia!

Very nice.

I am happy that the strike at my work was called off and we now have a tentative agreement.

*Edit* I just found out that I won the vote to become one of 5 Union Stewards at my workplace.

How soon until your handwriting becomes unreadable?

Does my prostate feel swollen to you?

You really don't need daily checkups.

I've been a doctor since the end of May 2012, but the way it works in the USA, we have to take three licensing exams: Step 1 (halfway though med school; tests scientific knowledge), Step 2 (In final year of medical school; tests diagnostic knowledge), and Step 3 (after graduation and sometime during residency training; tests ability to function as an unsupervised independent physician). The final step is required before you can be a fully-licensed physician. Prior to that, you're sort of in a weird spot where you're working as a doctor, but under the supervision of another licensed doctor.

Heh, those days are already gone. I've been working 60-80hrs weekly in the hospital since June while getting ready for this exam (amongst other things).

I've had those, dude. Not as much fun as you might think.

I love that I mentioned on facebook that "I guess I am union man now" and my friend came online to tell me he interpreted my writing as "I guess I am a unicorn man now"

Little known fact, union membership is near 100% amongst unicorns.

Doing it once with a unicorn doesn't make you a unicorn man. Everyone experiments.
