Random thing you love right now that doesn't deserve its own thread

The fact I'm getting paid to write an iPhone app, and that my wife is getting up with the kids in the morning.

Penalty! I said things that don't deserve their own thread.

Oogaba deserves its own thread. Oogaba deserves all threads.

Taco Bell Spicy Chicken Burrito
"A warm, soft, flour tortilla wrapped around shredded chicken that has been slow simmered in authentic Mexican spices, seasoned rice, creamy Jalapeño sauce, and Fiesta Salsa."

...with Fire Sauce, of course.

My white coat and stethocope. They make me feel a hell of a lot cooler than I really am.

Also, Invader Zim. My girlfriend just introduced me to IZ and it makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.

Making no-knead bread.

Cheddar's Buffalo style chicken wraps with no slaw, no pickles, and blue cheese instead of ranch, and blue cheese and honey mustard to dip the fries in. Holy cow, I can hear myself getting fatter when I eat them though, so I gotta cut myself off at one a month.

Eating that stuff while reading this book.

When I don't have to poop.

My brand new iPhone 3G

Sablefish, sometimes called Black cod, or butterfish. I swear it's my favorite food ever. It's known as the chocolate of the sea.... it's rich and buttery and kind of sweet and not fishy at all. Unfortunately it's hard to find inland...but if any of you land locked peeps every come to the PNW...gotta try it!

Really? I enjoy a good ol pop a squat. It's good reading time.

The pizza place's Greek pizza. It's got olives, red onions, whole cherry tomatoes, and feta cheese.

The fact that my roommate is moving out in a week and I'll have the house to myself.

The fact that it's fall, which is the best season ever.

Opening all my curtains so the house is flooded with light.

Learning languages.

Being a book nerd.

Stone Smoked Porter.

The knowledge that while I may have to get up a 6:30 AM tomorrow, I don't have to ask anyone how the hell they'd like their latte.

I had the MOST amazing burrito last night!! Half chorizo and half steak. Also I tried mescal for the first time, and it was delicious.

Not necessarily a combo, but a "Choose your own adventure".

It is indeed, though in the US you'll most often find it in concentrated form.

Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Meat of the gods, if you killed a unicorn, this is what the meat would be.

Chicken with cheesy ham on it? I mean, it's good and all, but...

Seems like more fitting for the "Random thing you hate right now that doesn't deserve its own Chiggie rant" thread.

The fact that I cooked and served four different kinds of sausage over two meals for thirteen people today at our house, and they all enjoyed it. I fixed homemade biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast; and I grilled brats, italian sausage, and hot dogs for dinner. That wasn't all that was cooked, but that's more than eight pounds of the stuff.

I also love the fact that we'll be back down to our standard complement of six people tomorrow morning. Things have been busy here.

Hand pulled BBQ Pork. I roasted a 5 ish pound pork shoulder saturday, shredded it and sauced it saturday night. Whoa man it is delicious. I still have a bunch left over

Mmmm, nice! That's what I was looking to do last weekend too...but the smallest shoulder to be had at my local butcher was 9 lb. 14 hours in the smoker, and at least as many beers later, it was done. Damn good, but I passed out within an hour of eating.

I'm getting almost $500 worth of headphones delivered tomorrow. Just seems odd to say that...

That could be two sets depending on the quality.
