That's a good point. There have been some talk about the game being dragged out because of ongoing monetary support from the Turkish Government as well - but I like your explanation more!
My shoulders just preemptively started aching.
Will the game have coop?
So it's actually not vaporware? I had kind of written it off when they missed their beta a couple years ago...
And there's a grand total of what, two developers?
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will be released in Early Access on 31st March 2020. The game will be available for purchase through Steam, Epic Games Store, and TaleWorlds website, for $49.99/€49.99/£39.99.
Its a little bit funny, that its the absolutely last day of March
I have a policy of never buying early access games, but I think I will have to make an exception for this one.
I'll get it, I'm not fooling myself. But I'm a little disappointed that they didn't adopt the purchase model they used for the original M&B. The earlier you bought in, the cheaper it was. $50 for an early access game is a little ridiculous.
Is there even a beta? Just wondering if their is any buzz on how complete the game is at this point and how it plays compared to the original.
Am I the only one looking more forward to the multiplayer than single player?
Shut up and take my dinars!
Edit: Good grief, this game's been in development so long that we've repeated the same jokes two or three times in this thread over the past decade.
This thread is 8 years old.
Edit: This thread is older then my middle child.

Yes, and I am in it. It is multiplayer only, though - One game mode does have ai allies though, so its possible to see how they act.
The game looks and feels like Warband, only looking much better, of course. I only played about an hour or so, since I have to no interest in multiplayer.
I just want Prophecy of Pendor in all its glory in the next gen M&B !
That's good to know. I will probably be in day one as long as I don't hear it's a buggy mess.
A little off topic but was reminded of it because Prophecy of Pendor was mentioned. I never really got into the troop command stuff in warband, is there a good primer or tutorial for being more a commander than single combatant in Warband?
It's pretty easy. If I remember correctly, the function keys control who you are talking to (Everyone, Infantry, Archers, Calvary). The number keys tell them where to go, to charge or not, and to fire or not.
I usually just had the infantry and archers hold position on a hill and had the Calvary follow me on a charge. The Cav usually bit it but the defensive formation of the infantry and archers on a hill was pretty powerful.
Something something, scream "HUSCARLS! WALL!"
Dammit, I'm reinstalling Warband again...
Dammit, I'm reinstalling Warband again...
Dammit me too!
Haha, yeah - its time!
ARCHEERS!
Please don't be delayed. I need more multi-player co-op games while being stuck in my house.
Maybe do the world a solid and publish to Steam the second it's ready to go?
Battle camels almost makes up for the lack of Nords.
