Need Peripheral Recommendations For Recliner PC Gaming

So, probably a massive breach of etiquette posting a topic asking for help the same day I registered for an account, but this seems like the perfect community to help me out with my problem, so here goes:

So, basically, I've got leg issues, which mean that if I'm sitting, I'm pretty much in a recliner. For the longest time, I've just been playing on the 360, but there have been so many great little gems that are only coming out for the PC lately, and I'm having a hard time playing them. I was using my laptop, with a trackball and/or a wired xbox 360 controller, but that's not really comfortable, and can really keep me from enjoying these games.

So, what would your recommend for wireless peripherals to allow me to PC game on my television. I don't need anything super high performance, since I'm not going to be playing any competitive FPSs or anything, but what's a good wireless controller? And does anyone have any suggestions for using a KBAM or trackball in your lap while in a comfy chair?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I use a wireless 360 controller with the Windows adapter and a Logitech M570.

I've got my monitor on an arm thats on the wall next to the recliner so I can have it in front of me while gaming. A logitech G13 on the left arm and my mouse / pad on the right. Just drop the keyboard in my lap when I need it. Also a wired 360 controller. Seems to work great, and is even better to just push the monitor out of the way and switch to the big plasma for the lean back games.

Unfortunately that's not really an option in my living room, it's either a laptop or something hooked up to the television.

And that trackball looks really nice, thanks for the suggestion LeapingGnome

I use that trackball with my laptop on the couch. It's great.
