All of them.

Ok the game just sort of.....ended. I get the feeling I may have missed something?

You probably got the bad ending like I did. I forget what triggers which ending. I think a lot of it has to do with how your social link with Nanako is.

At some point I need to go through and watch all the endings on YouTube. I probably won't be playing through the whole game again ever because it's a pretty big time sink.

It has nothing to do with social link with Nanako, although that would make sense.

If it's the bad ending I'm thinking of, it's 100% how you answer Yosuke during a critical scene in a hospital room.

If you get the bad ending, you don't need to play again. Just reload your last save and change your answers, that's all.

Hmmm ok. It wasn't nessisary a bad ending as such. More that nothing was really resolved. I may look at an FAQ.

Ah, good to know. Maybe I'll try and dig up a save that'll let me answer differently.

Aw man apparently I answered one question "incorrectly". Good thing the game prompted me to save just before.

Yup, that'd do it. I highly recommend moving on with the story because that ending is so bleak.

Still better than Persona 1 where the pivotal question happened like 3 hours into the game!

Aw yeah. I just killed

Spoiler:

The Reaper.

I'm actually quite proud.

And done.

Man that truly wins the Lord of the rings award for an ending that just keeps on going and going.

Congrats! I did find the ending satisfying though, given the length of the game overall, a really brief ending would have been a bit of a letdown.

Yeah. Good game. I may have to do a new game plus at some point.

You have been Illusion of Gaia'd.

Arise!

I finally got my hands on a Vita, so I can finally play Persona 4! But I have a question.

I'm into the Kanji investigation, and I suspect I'm under-levelled. When I finished Yukiko's dungeon, my party was in the 11-12 range, and Yukiko came in at 15, which made me start to wonder if I was low. Now I'm around floor 6 of Kanji's dungeon, my non-Yukiko party is around 14. I did some googling, and it looks like the intended level range for that dungeon is 15-25, with people suggesting that you be 25-27 for the final boss. Obviously, there's no way I'll be that high by the time I get there.

So the question is: do I need to grind? So far, I've done what I did in Persona 3, only going into the dungeon two or maybe three times to get through, and fighting all the shadows in there. I've started running from one specific type that isn't vulnerable to anything but light and hits hard with annoying status effects, but I fight everything else, but not enough that it should be handicapping my levels.

I'm really hoping I don't have to go in and grind to keep up with level requirements. If I do, I may be done with the game. I really hate forced grinding in JRPGs. Thoughts?

I don't think you should need to grind. Usually Personas matter a lot more than party levels. It's been a while since I've touched P4 but without more information about your Persona composition I can't think of any specific things you should be doing differently.

I mean, I've been keeping my fusing up, so my personas are as high level as I can keep them while also keeping a full elemental spread on my MC. The problem becomes that your MC level gates the highest base level of persona you can fuse before link bonuses. It also means a smaller HP pool, which can wind up meaning you get one-shotted when you wouldn't otherwise.

My worry is when I google recommended boss levels and see people saying they had a hard time below level X, and realizing I won't get that high without some serious grinding.

My recollection is also that what mattered more were personas and having a diverse party with abilities that could either withstand enemy attacks or hit their weak points. I don’t recall level mattering as much.

Buffs/debuffs and smart Persona management should mitigate this

P4G coming to Switch Jan 19.

Why is Mona narrating? Is she somehow a cross game/universe character? Anyway they have actually priced it reasonably! I expected $50 for both games but it is only $39.49 (which is an oddly specific amount)

The steam version of PS4 Golden is $20 and PS3 isn't out yet but I assume it would be about the same so (for once) buying it on the Switch isn't more expensive!

I assume just cashing in on P5 popularity to get people to try out P3/P4

And today was the day.

$19.99 each on Switch or a bundle for 50 cents off.
