Ravenwood Castle - A GWJ Friendly Travel Destination

Can I buy some of your D6 online? Cause I want me some Ravewood dice - but it will be a LONG time before I can make it out to Ohio.

I don't even play tabletop anymore, but I'd buy a set of the light green if you get a D6 with numerals, and the corners matching the rest of the set.

I'm sure we can make that happen. PM Mono or me your address and we'll get you details.

Delivery day. It's like Christmas in October.

Well that it is, huh. Can't fix it from the iPad, I'll update it later. In the meantime just imagine a large pile of boxes with "Paizo" stamped all over the side.

I wish I could explain it to myself.
I just see the rubies from the scene in conan, where the king hires them to find his daughter.
If it's colourful and translucent, I'm smitten.

Haha, you can't embed a gmail attachment link.

Facebook is blocked at my work. About 40% of images people post here look broken to me.

That green set in the front right corner. Yeah, I own those now!

The staff at the castle is pretty awesome, in case anyone was wondering. Just make sure your vehicle of choice can climb steep (and unpaved) hills - that drive up to the castle from where you turn in is crazy, to say the least. More so if you are in the fairy tale cabins that are down the hill.

You guys should get this for the castle.

I agree! That would be fun for the pub bathroom.

Teneman and MonoCheli, y'all are awesome:

I shall hoist some beer in your honor soon!

Enjoy them Rubb Ed, and thanks again!

I am glad they made it out to you! Enjoy!

Continuing the praise - thanks for sending back my USB adapter, guys

Monocheli: I am just dipping my toes into Geocaching. Have a look at the site ( www.geocaching.com )
Maybe it is an option to create your own Ravenwood cache?

Some people get into their conventions, and then some people get into their conventions!

Check out this commercial put together by the Convention of Ice and Fire being held at Ravenwood this spring.

The real question is whether they will follow the series' trend of gratuitous nudity.

Enquiring minds want to know.

I am alright with that not happening.

I was waiting for your visual input You always bring the class.

The fam and I just took a driving trip to Chicago suburbs and made Ravenwood Castle our layover stop there and back. We had a fantastic time, even the non-gamers in the family. The rooms were spacious, the food was excellent, the wine and cider selections were surprisingly good, and the board games never stopped =). Monocheli you were an awesome host and we all had a lot of fun hanging out with you and your family. Next time we'll have to remember to take more photos.

Congrats on what you guys have accomplished so far, and best wishes to you all in the future. We'll try to make it out to stay again in August. Cheers!!

Awesome Bullion, I'm glad you had a good time!

But I've got to know: considering your tag, did you try one of our soups in the pub?

I had the beer and cheddar soup made with the dogfish head IPA, and my mother raved about the chilli she had. Both were excellent, especially with those bread rolls.
