Happy birthday! If I'm back from the inlaws I'll be on.
I made a discord channel if we want to use that for voice coms.
Sorry I missed it Tboon! I was really looking forward to it but got caught up in family stuff I couldn't get away from. Hope we can set up more frequent times to play again.
That was a fun night! Thanks for all the well wishes

Happy Birthday Tboon!
Miss y'all!
So I just watched a random TF2 lore video on youtube and discovered that Scout's "real" name is the same as mine... My frying pan is calling.

Is this official lore or whatever TF2 is now?
Lord Gaben was reviewing footage of the Greatest Scout Of All Time, and took it upon Himself to look up UKick's real name in Steam, in order to commemorate it in Scout's legacy.
Any chance one of you has Deadlock access? I assume this is a long shot but I'd rather not have to post on reddit if I can avoid it.

I got a playtest invite for it yesterday and hit accept, but had no idea what it was for. Is there some way I can send out invites from it now?

There's an option to invite friends from the main menu.
I sent one to pants earlier

It's Valve's new "unannounced" game. It's supposed to be a cross between TF2 and Dota.

It's more like other 3rd person MOBA shooters like Smite
Would love an invite if anyone has one to spare.

Having spectated a bit of it while I learn the characters, it honestly looks a lot like PvP MvM with abilities and items.
There isn't a limit to invites, by the way. You just need to have somebody on your friends list to invite.
I'd like to try this out if I can get an invite.

I watched some video and it looked to me like Fortnite combat in a MOBA. I don't see the TF2 part in it at all. Hope people enjoy it, but that's the hardest of hard passes for me.

Like I have friends.
The TF2 crossed with Dota description came from the first leaks from earlier this year. I think it was from the Valve News Network guy. There's not a lot of TF2 there. The shooting does feel similar to TF2 hitscan (albeit in third person, which I'm not very fond of) but that's about it. The arrow guy does not feel similar to the huntsman which I was disappointed by. The creep movement/behavior feels like MvM to me.
