Sooooo, who's GWJr's dad? Last night, I mistakenly thought he was Evilhomer's boy (can't remember where I got that). Thunder's maybe? Anyways, they were rockin' the cashbah as a medic/heavy and thought maybe they were playing in the same room together, which could have it's advantages especially being a medic/heavy pair.

He's not his dad, and no, they weren't playing in the same room together. Oops homer! That probably took you by surprise.

Nope, my two boys don't play under a [GWJr] tag. They play under a generic name to not invite any scrutiny and it is my mission in TF2 to hunt them down every time they show up on the opposing team. Builds character.

Dude I totally bought that CD back in '91, I was a cool kid, the coolest

Wow I still remember all the lyrics, I'm totally singing this right now guys, I didn't even know english back then

edit: come on tboon I know you want to sing this too

Genesis had an album after Invisible Touch? But sure, I'll sing along, let me start drinking...

I love you. Then we play online, and you go scout and kill me frequently, then I hate you again.

Everyone hates ukick.

Unless he's on your team.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Remember brouhaha and tboon...I'm always watching over and protecting you...

Spoiler:

Creepy ass video though for real.

Last night, I think, was the first time I ever had the top score on my team as a spy. On a payload map, which I don't usually score that big on (unless I'm engie and that's just in teleports ).

NOOO!

Last night was fun, glad to have gotten a few rounds in to start off the week.

Also, I'm only 117 ubers away from a Server-Clearing Medigun! WOOHOO! We totally need to keep playing maps with setup time. Two free ubers each round...

I think Server-Clearing is about as high as I can hope for in my lifetime unless I start inflating my numbers in fake servers. It's a long, lonely path to get another 2500 ubers through normal play.

You know if you'd chosen a Strange Quick Fix instead of Medigun that time would be cut in half... Just saying...

New patch out. Notes:

Spoiler:

Oh yeah. And bug fixes and such... also:
*Updated the backpack page buttons to indicate how many items the pages contain.
*Added new Strange Parts:
*Strange Part: Robot Scouts Destroyed
*Strange Part: Taunting Player Kills

Simple request: can we get cashworks back on the vote list? It's a great all-around map for when the server is full (it's a lonnng one).

Doesn't Cashworks have a tendency to crash the server, though? If not then I agree, Cashworks has given us some of our very best games.

For me, Cashworks was a 50/50, awesome map or server killer (either by people quitting or the server crashing).

I say add it back in!

You make me feel pretty frustrated there for a while, so you must be doing something right. There were several times where I thought I had you only to have you disappear on me.

I thought they fixed that about a year ago.

I put cashworks back in but I think last time we had it in it was still crashing the server...can't remember for sure though. Guess we'll find out.

Time to submit my drawing of all the other classes kneeling before the all-mighty Doctor. I'll be swimming in Valve money soon!

Dumb question: I'm assuming cashworks is a non-standard map? Where might a certain stick-in-the-mud downloard said map ahead of time so as not to be a tool?

EDIT: I found the GWJ maps link on the Steam group page. I think I can do this myself. Everything is fine, nothing is ruined.

Cashworks is a really old but really fun map that was never really finished... It's kind of a wonder that it still works with any current version of TF2, I think it was designed when the game was mostly vanilla. I don't think even hats were introduced yet...

Cashworks can be super fun. But it can also be super-sloggy, up there with Hoodoo and (shiver) Thundermountain. Not those levels of slog, since they are on their own levels but it can be pretty slow. I guess the difference is that Cashworks can be sloggy easier than most other payload maps, whereas Hoodoo and (shiver) Thundermountain are pretty guarantee to be.
