Official Team Fortress 2 Game Nights (PC)

So who wants to install the newly announced SteamOS and log into my account so I can get the inevitable SteamOS TF2 hat?

Are you going to complain if I log 30 hours of sparkle ponies on it as well?

Ah, Granary.

I think it would be fair to estimate that I have played that map at least 100 times. I have enjoyed it once. I still remember the round.

Every other round I just remember thinking, "Man, f*** Granary.'

Homer sure is happy to have killed me. Look, he's doing a jig.

But Granary is an excellent spy map!

Exactly!

Crane stance is best for sniping.

When done correctly, no can defend.

I'm gonna try and heal the newbies or non-pro TF2 regulars for a couple of weeks, they can use the help

If you heal them they won't learn how to stay alive. You are just enabling their pubbiness.

Don't you just stay alive by killing the other guy?

Talking mostly about our GWJ newbs/pubby regulars, not so much bad randoms sitting in spawn.

Thing is I see them dying over and over so maybe if they stay alive longer they'll get more playtime and learn faster than sitting in spawn... Dunno just an idea I had, besides our pro-stars don't need the extra help as much, unless we're playing for realzzz. T

Those two pubbie heavies with nearly the same name last night were so fun. I think between the two of them I got six dominations.

You'll overheal me as sniper and like it!

Quick fix overheal

Woohoo! I'm gonna get heals!

I kinda hate the quick fix at this point.

Sorry, Mex.

I don't get invulnerability from the 347 ridiculously accurate snipers we have on this server, and I don't get criticals to tear everyone up, either. It's like the worst of both worlds. It's decent enough if there are no snipers around and not a lot of explosive-type demos and soldiers, but I don't feel that the higher charge rate offsets the loss of other benefits.

The QF is good for everyone except the heavy. It's fine if the other team doesn't have a H/M combo but if they do you're going to lose to them most of the time. It's good for the medic because it keeps them alive and it's good as a second medic choice. Overall, it's someone playing medic and that's almost always good.
Incidentally, I play sometimes on tauntgamers and they have a mod that lets you know that the QF is not a good choice, loudly, each time you spawn.

I think we found my problem with it.

What's the server IP ?

So I can blacklist it

So you'll be a better target? Works for me!

No amount of healing is going to stop me from being force-fed ham, repeatedly.

Move to the very, very back of the line, you backstabbing son-of-an-Irishman. As if we didn't already have half a dozen Australian-level spies before you showed up. (shakes fist)

Does that mean I get to be healed?

Mex, that server also has messages about scouts, snipers, spies, and general team balance. They like taunting and have integrated a drinking game into TF2.

Hey I was there before many of them! I just went away for a while :).

So, after last night I'm obviously going to get the heals. Between the body shots I made as a sniper and the dying constantly I managed to help the team lose on every map I played.

Cheeba, he's saying move to the back because you are a good player. Not because you went away for a while. It's a compliment you stabby SOB.

Wow so didn't lose a single game (except for warm-up times) with Newbie-Priority healing, that was interesting...
