Official Team Fortress 2 Game Nights (PC)

My only awards.

So 48 kills with Backburner, 7 from World Suicide and my favorite weapon is World Suicide.

You are not wrong HLstatsX. But I question how you arrived at that based on the numbers.

Silly poof question: does poofing do damage? I have noticed recently that I get kills sometimes when all I have done is poof the victim, not set them on fire. Very odd.

An award I got you will not see me with again probably: IMAGE(http://stanspub.hlstatsx.nfoservers.com/hlstatsimg/games/tf/gawards/w_shotgun_pyro.png)

Poofing doesn't do damage but it notes for kill purposes that you 'caused' their death if they fall into a pit or something. I bet you'll get that award most times. You're the only pyro around these parts that doesn't use the flare gun or the reserve shooter.

Right, I understand that. What I am saying is that I have gotten assists on badwater when I have only poofed someone (I think). No reflect, no pit, no fire. Just poof.

I could be mis-remembering; the kills may have been on people who were on fire. But the reason I remember it is because I was astonished when I got an assist for just poofing.

Huh, who'da thunk it? Medic is the least picked class.

If you poof somebody and the crater, you get credit.

Yeah maybe that's it. Fall damage. I just never noticed it before.

I guess I should learn how to poof more effectively.

So are these fancy awards the new hats? :p

One of the most frustrating nights of TF2 in a long ass time. Almost rage quit more than once.

Anyways

1. Replay is now on the server
2. HLStatsX:CE is on the server and can be found at http://stanspub.hlstatsx.nfoservers....

Oh snap, I'm #1! :O

I'll cherish this moment forever, before ukick takes it >_>

After a whopping six minutes of playing time, I'm currently behind BRUTAL CHICKEN FLIP.

I will need to rectify this.

Also this.

Snipers overall K:D on the server is barely 1:1... read often as dead weight.
Pyros K:D on the server is .76, tboon is 1.25, making tboon a normal pyro +60% more damage.

I wouldn't read too much into medic being the least picked. Medics tend to play medic for the entire round whereas a lot of the players on the server that aren't playing medic have a tendency to switch classes as needed.

Honestly, I've always felt like too many people play pyro, especially when attacking, and the numbers kind of bare that out.

Well yeah, of course. A little low actually.

Honestly, I find it funny that anyone would fear me as a pyro (or as anything else for that matter). I consider myself to be middlin' at best, there are far better players who play pyro a bunch that are better than I. I have some lucky runs but a ton of terrible ones to get one good one. If I live longer than a minute at a time, it is a miracle.

Fun fact. I currently have more wrangler kills than sasha kills. In fact, I have over three times as may sentry kills (level 1,2,3, mini, and wrangled) as I have mini-gun kills.

Fun fact number 2. I may have good nights as a spy but I still feel like a noob spy on Stan's.

I'll remember this next time I take down the other teams 3+ heavy push. Also it's one night of data kind of hard to draw any conclusions especially since I had a terrible night.

I don't think it started recording stats till after nucleus too.

I think it started somewhere in the middle. I had a bunch more caber kills on nucleus.

Looks like it's time to win a bunch of medals for using obscure terrible weapons. I'm looking at you, Family Business

It wasn't setup until towards the end of nucleus.

I had to have been active for the end of nucleus because it thinks that's my favorite map even though I was only on it for about two minutes.

edit: or what Gumbie said.

True. But there are lies, damn lies, and statistics.

I'm a huge fan of the Scorch Shot, myself. It pairs nicely with my love of maps with pits. My favorite is shooting Blu people as they approach the penultimate point on Upward; you can flare them from a tremendous distance and knock them into the abyss. Yay!

So is there a minimum limit of players before it tracks stats? 6 v 6 seems like a good spot...

Just changed it. Stats won't track until there's 12 players now.

Also I enabled it where you can set your own style for the page. You'll see a box in the upper right hand corner. It just lets you change the colors.

Can that page show map play count?

Finally, I may get some definitive proof that we play way too much pl and a/d maps.

Hmmm, people playing more to pad their stats.....

Excellent!

We should make sure pubbies know that we're running HLStats on the server. It will help attract more regulars I imagine. Not sure what the best way is to do that.

MOTD? Oh, right, pubbies never read that.
