Wait -- why are they doing this? What conceivable reason could there be? This isn't Beanie Babies.

Oh wait -- this is just another economic experiment, to see what happens when scarcity-through-retirement is applied to virtual goods. Clever bastards.

And no one took me seriously when I said their economist is mad with power!

The unusual versions of those hats are going to be worth a small fortune in the near future.

Well thanks to ukick I just got an Unusual demo fro. Hopefully this will make it a little more valuable if I decide to trade up. I also I have vintage Pyro beanie that I never wear. Maybe I can get something nice with it.

Just grabbed a vintage soldier's stash before the guy knew what he had.

This doesn't change the number of vintage versions of these hats at all...

My black-painted Vintage Fancy Fedora just went up 10000% in value!

True, but removing all non vintage versions may make them go up in value.

Those evil smart bastards. They even took them out of the starter bundles!

I don't think it will do much all in all.

Where are the mannes.....
Send in the mannes....

Fun maps tonite. And the smaller sized teams seemed funner too.

I play plenty of Civ V, and I've often fallen victim of the "One more turn" syndrome. I found the equivalent in TF2 tonight when Hannibal kept setting me on fire and axtinguishing me while I tried to melee back. Every time he killed me I thought "Oh, I'll out melee him this life." But it never happened.

Good games tonight. I was doing the one more turn thing for a while too.

I think switching my connection to ethernet helped me land hits with the Axtinguisher. I'd miss with it more than half the time when playing over wifi.

I get that sometimes, never found a resolution.

Does your computer run hot? Mine just crashed for a while and refused to boot for a few minutes. It seems to be working fine now which makes me think it was heat. Or maybe there's a blown capacitor somewhere that just acts really strange...

No not particularly.

Adding a some extra fans and reinstalling video drivers seems to have cleared up the problem for me. I think something was running hot, but it's hard to say for sure.

Check out my sweet spy hax! Facestabbing PLUS not dropping disguise during stab

Thanks for the fun rounds yesterday everybody. (Got kicked when a map came up that I didn't have :(). Also especially thank you to all for letting me think I was a good spy on that one control point map (horrible with names).

It was quite fun.

I'm happy to have the pub point to my mapserver, and add any other maps we need.

It should automatically download when the map switches... theoretically at least.

I had a typo in the maplist file that's why the problem came up. Mex messaged me last night about it and it should be fixed now.

I've got a map server at the moment that the custom maps are hosted on. If I start running out of space I'll hit you up.

Ooo, fancy Dimmer on the frontpage!

Wait. There's life outside this topic?

The game just didn't want me to play tonight. I finally just forced the game to shut down because according to Nvidia " The display drivers crashed" and while I could hear the game, all I could see was my desktop.

I would like you to know that even though you filthy RED bastards won, I still had the most points.
100 POINT CLUB HIGH FIVE!

Can I get an invite to this craziness? Thanks in advance!

Wow. So Valve has more-or-less picked a few items to be 'rare-itized'? Puts a different spin on earlier crates, if that's indeed the case..

Also, for those who encounter the validating cache hanging prior to launching TF2: this may help. At least it did of me. Keep in mind, the first time I ran TF2 after following these steps, the validating still came up, but just once. All subsequent launches have resulted in flawless launching goodness!

Good times tonight. good games mixed with bad beer equals multiple wins...especially a flying caber across ChrisLTD's cranial in dust bowl....:)

Oh if anyone has an extra Fancy Fedora, I wouldn't mind trading for it.

Also, been working in Hammer trying to get something playable, just a taste of what I've been fighting to get done.

I really gotta start playing with you guys. I apologize in advance for whatever team gets me as I'm not going to prove all that useful

A 4:3 aspect ratio?
