You gotta live up to that tag some how.

Also I wanna shoot players tonight, as in sitting behind a keyboard living and breathing players. I'll be sad if we can't fill 2.0 up later tonight.

We need to play that more, too.

Also, I'm in the same boat. The two I did last night are the only two I have, so I'm up for more.

Me me me! Pick me!

Sweet, looks like a good group is shaping up for tonight. Now why isn't that Red Necked one online?

The official Admin ragequit.

Where do people stand on kicking people that are exceptionally terrible? For example, there was a guy tonight who had two points through two rounds of gravel pit and zero points through one round of upward. He only played scout and sniper.

If server is full, I have no problem kicking them. If it's less than 10v10 I usually just verbally abuse them

Ok no more donations. We've reached our 1 year funded goal. Thanks again to everyone who donated!

Now taking donations for Pub 2.0 for anyone who wants to donate. Here are the current pricing plans.

Month to Month - $26.39
2 Month chunk - (2.5% discount) $25.73 a month ($51.46 payment)
3 Month chunk - (10% discount) $23.75 a month ($71.25 payment)
6 Month chunk - (12.5% discount) $23.09 a month ($138.55 payment)
1 year chunk - (15% discount) $22.43 a month ($269.18 payment)

Please don't feel like you have to donate to play. Money is tight and I don't want anyone to feel like they are required to pay anything. Also if you do want to donate don't feel like you need to send a big chunk, every little bit counts. I would prefer staying near the year mark just in case the server goes to sh*t so we aren't stuck with them after the year. I don't think they will but you never know. I'll try to keep you guys updated on what the total is because there's no webpage like clanpay that shows that. Also these donations are non refundable, they go straight to the server provider and I don't even have access to them.

Donations are currently at $155. The 1 year goal is $269.18

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far!

I would lean to the side of if they are trying, leave'em alone. If they are trolling, kick with extreme prejudice. Personally, I give folks the benefit of the doubt until they prove they are just messing around. Probably why my kick count is so low.

Also, finally played two maps' worth of Mann vs. Machine. Not sure what I think about it. :/

Had really loads of fun with the MvM tonight.
First a few Mann Up, after that some on Normal.
Soldier is so far the most fun I find.

Screen shots cannot be uploaded so it seems. Will post them later

I just donated. Hopefully that will entice me to play more to "get my money's worth".

I probably have two points throughout my entire history of TF2.

Medic is cruise control for points Can't aim? No problem, just heal people who can!

Finally played some Robots and it was a lot of fun

I can see how it could get boring in a few weeks but it's pretty good right now...

The private server may need some lovin too. How about it Homer?

shoptroll wrote:

I'm not a big fan of paying over a year because if the provider turns to crap we're stuck paying them for however long we have money for.

Having had nights where I've truly been that terrible, I'd be pretty pissed about getting kicked for having an off night. Count me with tboon; if they're not putting in effort and generally trolling, boot. Otherwise, not everyone is super awesome every night.

Mex wrote:

That was a good time. Ran really smooth on my machine (which was a surprise) aside from that weird hiccup we all had. Definitely willing to play again

I usually start by giving "helpful advice" about team play. If that gets ignored, I become a little more insistent about changing classes. If THAT gets ignored, I kick if the server's full (or close to full). If at any time I get back-talk, I kick.

EDIT: I've heard more than one of our semi-regular pubbies say that one of the reasons they *like* our server is that our admins actually kick for lack of teamplay. So I don't feel bad about having a quick trigger finger. If pubbies want to screw around and be useless, there's a big old internet out there just waiting for them.

And if our server is full, you can always send a message to an admin. If there is a slacker, a kick should follow swiftly. Making space for you that way.

I won't kick to make way for people unless there's an afk or a troll. Nothing pisses me off worse than when it happens to me in another server.
