I've got an extra copy of Portal 2 gifted to me. If you want I can send that and you send 1.

Sure, join the party! I just sent Portal; you take care of the sequel.

Just put in a friend request on Steam (at least, I think I did - Mimble75 if that doesn't show up).

I'd love to contribute a game for Liam's account!)

I've got a phat keyboard and mouse set for him: Vengeance K60 and M90.

Here I was gonna give them away during the donation drive... this feels better.

PM me so I know where to send 'em.

Portal 2 is on it's way via Steam. I hope he enjoys it.

I just Sent him bastion, i hope he enjoys it as much as i did.

His reaction will be great. My sister's reaction may cause the level of dust in the room to elevate dramatically.

I don't have much in the money or hardware department, but i still have a Humble Bundle #2 gift floating around. Including Aquaria, Braid, Cortex Command, Gish, Lugaru HD, Machinarium, Osmos, Penumbra Overture, Revenge of the Titans, Samorost 2 and World Of Goo. I can either send that link to you and you can download them from their site or you can redeem the steam keys, i am just not sure what games have steam keys since they do them in a bundle.

Sims 3 plus Showtime, sent!

Looking forward to seeing the look on his face when he gets his new PC and sees his Steam account full of games.

I love this community.

Gifted him Tropico 4: full bundle.

Friend request sent! If no one has beat me to it, I was going to get him Quantum Conundrum.

Friend request sent.

Now that I've donated, I expect a large and complimentary part in the next book, Trichy.

He will send you all of the vowels used in the writing of the book, and few complimentary consonants

Friend request sent. I'll try and grab him some games that haven't been sent yet. Does he like RTS? I was looking at some of the Total War games.

edit* As soon as the store comes up. sigh

Sent a teeny bit of money since I don't have any computer components to donate. I'll throw in a Steam game if anything shows up on sale that is good and no one else gives.

Actually... I might have something worth donating. I have a black Steelseries Siberia V2 headset that I'm never gonna use. It's used, but it's in very good condition. I can wipe it down with rubbing alcohol or something to sterilize it and ship it off if it is wanted. Just send me a PM trichy. Of course, no worries if it isn't wanted. I've just kept it around as an emergency backup.

Apologies if I was stupid and missed that someone donated something along these lines. I skim. I skim.

Phat indeed! I've got the Vengeance K90 and absolutely love it.

I have an oldish motherboard you might be able to use, though I'm really not sure how well it would run Civ V. It's got a Core 2 Duo 6850 in it. Let me know if you want it.

I have a copy of Portal I could gift.. is there an email address to gift to?

PM me

I bought Frozen Synapse, another TBS gem, for him. I kept it in my inventory for when you find the time to accept my friend request.

Kickstarter idea! Depending on the amount you donate, I'll write a specific role with your name.

$1: One of the maggots crawling over the dismembered corpse.
$2: The hobo offering sexual favors in exchange for M:TG booster packs.
$5: The cheerfully racist depiction of an Irish cop who shows up long enough to be plowed over by a Buick driven by a meth-head on his way to a Winona Judd concert.
$20: The wisecracking possum who punctuates tense situations with a perfectly timed Dutch folk saying.
$50: One of Judd Nelson's alternate personalities.
$100: The character that Whiting has sex with in chapter 4. Bear in mind, depending on the gender of the donor, this could be a substantial rewrite and dramatically change the tone of the novel.
$500: One of the maggots crawling over the dismembered corpse, but this time, you have a bad-ass handlebar mustache.

How much to have Lopez' frying pan named after you?

A friend suggested that the frying pan become Lopez' signature weapon. $200 bucks and he can caress it lovingly while cooing your name.

Total War: Medeival II sent. Also, I found that I randomly bought Half-Life 2: Episode One as a gift for somebody a few years back but never sent it. Do you think he'd like that or is he still a bit young?

Trichy, how are you planning on explaining the community's generosity to your nephew?

He isn't, that's the evil genius thing about this whole plan!

Ha. I'm serious though. I was thinking this over earlier this morning, and I couldn't come up with a way that didn't come down to "there are a bunch of people kind of like you but older who want to encourage you". I'd be nervous about saying anything along those lines because of a) what the "older people" stigma can do to things kids enjoy (that is, ruin them) and b) having him interpret it all as something like "well, kid, you're a freak, and they're freaks too!".

Honestly, I'm planning on explaining that people notice when you work hard and take care of your family, and a lot of generous people all over the world found out about the kind of kid he is and wanted to make a gesture. I think the best part of this is that hopefully he'll realize that the good in people outweighs the bad, and it doesn't take a lot to make a big difference in someone's life.

He might be a bit too young. I'm giving my sister the final approval on what games are installed on this computer.
