It was originally made for the PC, so ...

Oh, huh. I was thinking of Oath in Felghana. Still looks like it'll be rough with M&K though. Guess I'll find out later on.

I don't like feeling like I need to check back in with Steam throughout the day for flash sales. Anyone mind shooting me a PM if Recettear comes up?

Um no. I like Recettear. I don't want you clockin all over it. :p

Smart move.

Many thanks to Prozac for Plants vs. Zombies.

As my second PC Popcap game, I hope it doesn't consume as much of my time as Peggle.

During an intense Team fortress match (in which my 13 year old son was dominating me ...again) I received the Gift of Dungeons of Dredmor from Tagg. Thanks Tagg!

I'm really thinking hard on Skyrim, it is the one game I want to get out of this sale but I'm not sure 50% is going to be the lowest during this sale and I'm a cheap collage student, I take the lowest price. Should I just go ahead and get it at 30 or wait out the next few days to see if it goes lower?

I also suspect if I pass now there should be one more chance to get it at this deal price before the event ends.

I keep looking at my Wishlist to see if any of my games I want are super cheap and only six of them are fix and under five and there are 23 games on my wishlist. For a sale I seem to be in the wrong section for the flash sales and great discounts. Then again it is only day 3.

Clock -- or anyone -- you can set up a SteamAlert for a target price and it will email you. I'm not sure how timely it is, but it might be something to try.

Edit: Ugh, looks like they're buckling under the load of the sale. It's probably not super-reliable at the moment; your mileage may vary, etc. Didimatic might work better.

I doubt it will go lower, and it is a gamble that it will hit this price again.

Also, if you plan on playing it soon (like in the next few months before it goes on sale again) I think it is MORE than worth the money.

My brain tells me not to buy Tropico because I won't play it before the Christmas sale but my finger thinks my brain is stupid and really wants to press the button.

This is my dilemma as well.

More, It will consume More of your time.

Yes.

It will.

This thing is still a staple in my house, on two different Steam accounts and an Android phone, after 2 years. O.o

Still waffling over buying Two Worlds. I'm already down $15 this sale, so this might have to be the end. /sigh/

Belated thanks to BurntToast for Payday.
I had to send it back to you because someone else beat you to it.
But thanks!

So I'm a little confused by this:IMAGE(http://i.imgur.com/mU52n.png)

Does this mean it includes 2 copies of the game plus the DLC? If so, I'd say that's a pretty great deal! Or is it just a typo and is just one copy with DLC? Or just 2 copies of the base game?

Skyrim will not go lower during this sale. If it's a Daily, that's the lowest it will go, until the next sale. Which, for Skyrim, is probably Christmas.

Oops.

Oh god, if I curse you later, remember, I was thankful now.

Yeah, I get that, but the description for the pack says it includes 2 copies!

Of the base game, I believe. It's been that way since beta.

Thanks to Meatman for the gift of fat lootz in Borderlands!

The soundtrack edition says it only comes with one soundtrack but two games. That's the direction I would lean in for the complete pack. It isn't very clear, though.

The forums on the Steam site look to say the same: two copies of the base game, but only one copy of the soundtrack & dlc.

Yeah, I re-read it and saw what you were actually asking (that will teach me to reply at 6am on a Sunday morning)

Renegade Ops is up on the flash deals. I seem to recall hearing good things about this - am I remembering correctly? Is it only good multiplayer?

Thanks to the goodness of Edison I'll be able to find out! Thanks, man!

Let's see if this works with other things. I seem remember hearing the Porsche 911 is a pretty good car - am I remembering correctly?

Anyway, Thanks!

So... the Steam store vote just changed?

Did they scrap the Valve vote or is it over? The counter for the current deal is 2 hours, but hte voting is open for 7:30...

Anyway, I see LA Noire, Alan Wake, or Amnesia, all for 75% off.

Clearly everyone should vote Alan Wake because it's newest, and the other 2 have both been $5 already. :p

Wasn't Alan Wake a Flash deal yesterday?

Also, I think I will pass on Witcher for that price, I want to play it, but dropping that much on a game so early in the sale kind of kills my budget for the rest of it.

Doggone it - people like you!

Thanks for letting me know. Will gift to another.

Ok nevermind, now L4D2 is up... apparently it won, despite already being that price a bunch of times... gosh the internet is dumb.

FLASH SALE: Witcher 2, $15.99!

Is that a new low? I know it was $20 before...

EDIT: Witcher series sale actually. First game is now $2.49. That's tough to beat if you still didn't have it for some reason.

Since Alan Wake had a great discount yesterday, like Kamakazi said, is anyone got a hankering for L.A. Noire or Amnesia?

Looks like I'll have to wait then. I know it's going to be a great game, but $30 is still too high. Looks like I've got another 6 months before I jump in.

EDIT: Seriously why can't we buy 4 packs for games we already have? Renegade Ops would have been shared with such delight.

Interesting that they're doing short sale repeats, which in some cases might bring up the possibility of buying at 66% and then see it discounted steeper later on.

Something else I've noticed is that there's no 'crazy' sales, steamgamesales lists the lowest at 75%, but I'm pretty certain there's been 80-95% off a few times in earlier sales.
