[trailer] Rise of the Guardians

Looks like an ok animated film.

Looks like the Man has taken this trailer down.

You forgot to use quotation marks around "the Man"!

That looks ... weird.

Is it racist of me that, because of the rabbit's eyebrows, I thought he was going to be the russian-voiced character? I was actually a bit disappointed when it turned out to be Santa....

Spoilerz!!!!

j/k He's definitely dressed like a Russian, so ...

Edit: He's totally voiced like a Russian.

This looks awesome.

Huge stupid smile on my face. I think it was the naughty and nice tattoos that did me in.

I'm kind of disappointed their ethnicities aren't determined by their respective origins, but then that would probably mean they'd all be Germanic or Norse.

Saw a preview of this when I went to Prometheus, it looks delightfully weird.

The first trailer was alright but this one is the trailer that sold me on the movie.

Looks like fun.

I seen this last Wednesday, and absolutely loved it. I'm going back today to see it in 3D and I never go back to a theater to watch a movie twice. Was much better than I expected. Did anyone else see this? What did you think of it?

For those who have seen it, would it be ok to take a 4 year old? My little guy wants to go but I want to make sure it is appropriate for little kids.

My 6 year old enjoyed it, but 4 may be pushing it, there are a few dark moments that may spook them. YMMV of course.

Whoa. Where did this movie come from? I haven't heard anything about it until today. Looks awesome!

Arise thread!

This movie. This movie right here. It is awesome. Rise of the Guardians is at a "How To Train Your Dragon" level of quality. Imagine mythical figures forming an Avengers/Juctice League group. That's what this movie is. I loved it.

I recently went to see it a third time on a rainy day just as school was letting out so my family and I had the entire theater to ourselves.

Sadly all they could do after the movie was joke about how similar the name is to that owl movie. My mother has since gone back and told me it was a good movie and was recommending it to customers with kids, since she works as a cashier at a small town grocery store.

Really, if you haven't seen this movie yet go out and give it a try. It's a great holiday movie with just enough mature themes to keep the adults and kids interested.

Yeah, I really enjoyed this. It's definitely a kid focused movie, but charming and funny enough for adults to enjoy.

Out with the family, I saw this instead of This is 40. It was ok. Kids will definitely enjoy this more than adults, but it was serviceable enough for me to say my time wasn't wasted. I wouldn't watch a second time, though. It's just not very funny, and the story/characters aren't that interesting.
