Sunday is not open for me, lol. How about Monday night between 8-10pm ET? If not, I will try to see when else I can play before then.

Ugh. CSU loses to Miami last night by a FG. I was behind the whole game. Pretty much every time I scored, they had a play that took them 80 yards for a score or to the 1 yard line. (Actually, there were three long runs in this game that ended at about the 1 yard line...strange.) I had the ball late in the 4th, but didn't realize I was in FG range until I took a sack. Crap.

It's actually pretty crazy that I lost, given I had ~200 yards rushing (before sacks) and my QB went 12-16. Technically he went 14-16, but two of those were to the other team. That with the 4 sacks I took sunk me.

On the plus side, I realized in this game that I was using the wrong back-up HB. My first string HB went down for a week. I had my back-up in...he's a reliable runner, but pretty much only good up the middle, as he's too slow otherwise. However, when he needed to be spelled, my third stringer, a freshman, tore things up. I swapped their order, and good old Donnell Alexander ran for 178 yards on 13 carries. By contrast, his compatriot had 30 yards on 12 attempts (while my starter had 3 yards!!).

This is my rant on how I hate the bowl system in this game. As of right now I am 11-1 ranked 16 in the BCS. It has me projected to play Nevada in the humanitarian bowl. When looking at the rest of the bowls. It has Rice set tto play in the BCS Sugar Bowl. I know Rice is waiting to see who they play in the MAC championship game either myself or Temple depending if U beats Temple or not. But how am I not in a higher ranked bowl game?

that will surely change when things start to sort out.

Because you lost to Temple. Who the **** loses to Temple. You should be ashamed of yourself

Lmfao! Anyway, I'm going to look at some houses after work. Trivia has not been made official. I will post here after the house looking. House shopping sucks

Looks like I will be on tonight if you can make it. Sorry for the late notice. If you can't make it, I can go on autopilot so you can get the game in this weekend.

I can come on now

Just so you know, I'm very mad at my Sega Genesis emulator. I really wanted to play some NHL 95 but it's being a dick!

Great game Kush. Very closely played. I had two big drops that would have been huge plays. That one long pass you had was hilarious. Looked like it tipped off your receiver into the other guy's hands. And then your QB fumbles while chewing the clock. He had the first down and the game wrapped up and got stripped. Then I sucked on offense.

Oh yeah, Kush won by a FG.

The funny thing was, I passed to the guy who caught it, but the ball was thrown to the other guy, who did indeed tip drill it to the originally targeted WR. It's the Temple Ali-Ooops. It was an awesome game, and not just because I won. It was very similar to the Georgia/Rutgers game in the BCS league, and I ran for the 1st down on 3rd down late in the game to kill the clock and fumbled, only this time, you recovered. I really need to learn to slide

I believe this will put me in the Mac Championship, unless the XBox screws me over, in which case, Willhouse will go from our division. Even though I beat him, he went (11-1), I wouldn't be too heartbroken if he went, as I will probably sh*t the bed and lose if I go, lol.

You mean like I did when I squeaked into the game last season?

Firesloth, hurry up.

Mwahahahaa....you're at my mercy now!

Seriously, I'll see if I can get this in tonight.

And...done!

Temple will get it's recruiting in tonight.

*EDIT*
So yeah, I forgot that you can't schedule Bye Weeks for visits when recruiting online. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! That will probably cost me the kicker I am recruiting.

Western is ready

I will do mine when I get home tonight.

Should I just blow through recruiting? If you don't get it done tonight, oh well?

Temple finished recruiting last night, FYI.

Yup!

Congrats to Rice and Temple. The best of the MAC conference. Good luck to you both in your game!

Bonney, are you available either Thursday or Friday after 8pm ET?

Friday should be fine.

Bill Bonney wrote:

I will see you then sir.

Bonney, see you tonight around 8pm ET.

Bonney, great game tonight. Temple hangs on to beat Rice 24-20 in Michigan. Several plays changed the momentum in this game. Leading 14-7, Rice QB Driphus Jackson threw a costly pick late in the 2nd quarter that was returned for a TD, tying the score. Temple intercepted Jackson again before halftime, and was looking to take a lead, when Girardi threw a pick of his own to LB Nick Elder, who took the ball 89 yards. Instead of scoring a TD, Temple's offensive player hustled after Elder, and took him down at the 7 yard line with 7 seconds to go. Rice then had to settle for a FG, but held a 17-14 halftime lead. Rice took the ball in the 2nd half, and managed to extend their lead to 20-14, but Temple took their first lead of the day on a 4 yard TD from Girardi with 32 seconds remaining in the 3rd. Temple added a 44 yd FG with 2:34 to play, giving Temple a 4 point cushion. But Rice stormed right back, driving down the field, and Temple's defense had no answer. But with 35 seconds remaining and the ball at the Temple 13 yard line, Jackson threw his 3rd and most crucial interception, sealing the MAC Championship for Temple.

BTW, I saved this one highlight, Bonney had the most exciting play of the game, as he threw a bomb down the middle of the field to his WR who was triple covered. My safety tipped the ball straight up, and his guy came down with the ball, and "skipped" for joy and a first down

That was funny, didn't even mean to throw it to him, pushed the wrong button.

Great game as always Kush.

Rice had a great year, especially playing with a backup QB all year. Great turn around from last year.
