NCAA12 GWJ2STAR - Season 3 -WEEK 3 - Deadline 6/30

Marshall crush Ohio 52-27. I dont have much to report...it was a standard enough game...there are however two cool plays I would like everyone to check out. The first is a broken pass play that ended for a TD pass anyway, the other was the best...Marshall sacked the Ohio QB twice to force a 4th and 15 on their one yrd line. I blocked the punt for a safety. Awesome.

I'll be on in about 5 minutes, Leroy...

zomg, i see you!

I'm saving my Minecraft(effing crack) game.

Heh, wrong thread. :p

This has been rolled!

Marshall felt like destroying something apparently...my QB had 31 comp for 919yrds, 13 tds and only 1int. My Defense had 11 sacks and 4 turnovers, 3 for tds. UAB reboards the buses feeling dazed and cold after losing to Marshall 115-31.

What, your defense couldn't hold them to less than 31? Seems like a certain coordinator's seat should be feeling a bit warm...

I agree with firesloth. The 115 points just doesn't seem as impressive now

Willie. We play each other in both leagues.

I saw when do you want to do this double header

I saw when do you want to do this double header

whenever. I am going to end up hating you either way.

I might be able to do tonight after 11 the wife has to watch her dancing with the stars and bacheloret

If I'm not too worn out from Minecraft.

I was going to say since your going to hate me. After I beat you I will join your Minecraft world and just start taking your castle down piece by piece lol

Still...how can 115 not be impressive...are you getting close to that? I know its only UAB but still, its hard to score that quick, that consistently.

Don't take the following as me being upset, it's the furthest thing from the truth:

To be completely honest, I'm not impressed with 115 points, it makes me sad because this only proves how flawed the game is. In a 2-star league, it should be damn near impossible to do this. Even if someone was using Oklahoma (#1 ranked, out of the box ranking) vs Akron (ranked dead last), this shouldn't happen, but would probably be more acceptable. Yes, it's a video game, so no matter how realistic the game is, it's not going to be realistic. But at some point, the AI should kick in and stop bomb after bomb after bomb from being completed, because that just doesn't happen. There should be incompleted passes, passes that are dropped. Wilson averaged 56.5 yard per catch on 6 receptions, it just doesn't happen in real life, especially for a school like Marshall. It's games like this that make me think the sliders are not hard enough.

Once again, if I'm mad at anyone, it's EASports, not Zell.

Agreed 115 points is not hard to get if you have a pass play that works every time, ie 57 yards avg per reception. I know from another league there is a glitch where you audible you pretty much confuse the CPU and get big plays. Myself I try to be as sim as possible. When winning that big there is no reason to throw the ball and run up the score unless you got your 2nd or 3rd team in there.

Sorry didn't mean to double post

Double post for the double header?

And, Bill, you triple posted in the end!

Sorry to get everyone honked about it.

No need for apologies. No one is casting aspersions on you for this, but rather they're commenting on the inadequacies of the game.

Even if the safety comes down and the opposition is bad, those receivers shouldn't catch that many balls deep and the QB shouldn't be that on target if this were close to real life.

I suppose we do see 60 and 70 point games against FCS teams occasionally, and that's probably with second- and third-stringers in the line-up. There's no real incentive aside from possible injury to put in your scrubs in this game.

So, congrats on your milestone!! Now, don't ever do it against a human!

well...its not so much a flawed play as just a lack of personnel. When their 3rd and 4th corners cant keep up with your receivers and the safety drops down to cover your TE, its not hard to find someone open. I wasnt using the same play over and over either...I honestly was switching it up. I also mixed a couple run plays in and it would have been close to 100 rushing yards if not for the 5 sacks my qb took. I just thought it would be fun to see how high I could go when I saw I was at 57points at the half. That was after a monster 2nd quarter with two defensive tds. Sorry to get everyone honked about it. I just thought it was neat that I broke 100 with my two star team which still has those 3 starters out...I was hoping for some accolades or something...anything other than distaste. From now on, if I get up by four scores, I will just sub in my second string and punt the ball. My humble apologies to the league.

when the offense is getting off the field in 30 secs everytime they get the ball, the def never gets a chance to rest. That's why we gave up 31points. Besides two of those tds were broken plays. One was a 80yrd td run after 3 broken tackles, the other was a pass where a pick was missed that allowed them to run 68 after the catch for a td. Still...how can 115 not be impressive...are you getting close to that? I know its only UAB but still, its hard to score that quick, that consistently.

WMU wins. Not much to say. I was in control until EA decided Western Michigan should win.

My corner tracked a pass and then stopped moving. Literally froze on the 5 yard line and didn't budge. Easy TD.

Willie's corner warps to pass to the flat for an easy pic 6

Fumble on the ensuing kick off, scoop and score.

21 points in roughly 15 seconds.

Other than that bullsh*t, we had a fun close game going. After that, I gave up.

This game was just like the last one but this time I came out on top. In both games whoever was leading at halftime lost the game. If it wasn't for tha pick 6 and then fumble recovery for a TD you had this game. But Western beats Central 60-42

The long pass is broke in this game. QB's are way too accurate downfield.

Agreed. Zell, you must have missed the part where I said
