NCAA12 GWJ2STAR - Season 3 -WEEK 3 - Deadline 6/30

Rice wins 43-42 on a 2pt conversion with 10 secs left. Marshall jumped out to a 35-14 halftime lead. Rice couldn't stop the slants over the middle until the 3rd quarter when Rice grabbed some ints. Marshall continued to throw and Rice got more ints to get back in the game. Once again McGuffie had a huge game with 180 plus yards and a TD.
I'm surprised Marshall didn't try to run the ball more in the 2nd half to eat up some clock.

Temple is done recruiting, I will try to get the game in during the next couple of days, but will play on Thursday the latest.

Nice win, Bill

Nice find Kush. Pre-ordered with release date delivery.

I didnt run because you stopped me for 3 or less yards every time. I was kinda upset at two of the INTS...one was because I hiked the ball and nothing happened, so I pressed "a" again and it hiked passed straight to your linebacker. The other was to a wide open receiver that went wide in the wind. Still...good game. It was enjoyable, even if I did give up a 3 TD lead and was held to just one TD in the second half. This one loss wont keep me from the championship.

If I can get by Leroy which I think I have a good chance I can. And if in can beat Kush. Not sure about my chances since I have yet to play him it might be me standing in your way of a MAC championship.

Good game Zell. I practically gave up when you got that big lead. Never thought I would come back but those 4 ints hurt and a fumble recovery for a TD put me back in the game.
Pretty much a tale of 2 halfs, you got the first one, I got the 2nd one. Good game and good luck the rest of the way.

to be honest, after looking at the standings, Its rice's race to win. CSU still stands in my way, but conference wise, Rice doesnt have any humans left, so if Bill beats everyone else, I wont make it to the championship. Which is dumb, since I am banking I beat the Rams and will end the season with one less loss. I dont even play you Willhouse. I wont unless we meet in the championship.

Last year, I had 1 loss in the conference, and Willhouse had 0. Same division, but never played each other, stupid EASports. You at least got the chance to beat your division leader.

I am not ready to play the computer, I want more human opponents Seems I play better (4-0) against real players 1-2 vs cpu.

So firesloth didn't do his recruiting. Shall we go forward?

When is Fire coming back from vacation?

So Kush when do you want to do this I should be free tonight anytime and really should be free all weekend.

My wr corp got a little extra jiggy

Wtf....central Mich gets 5 of its prospects in one week? Damn...

<----

I brought a lot of them in the past two weeks

I have stopped taking the recruiting seriously just because it is so close NCAA 13 coming out I just throwing promises at people

I can hop on now if you're there. Baby's sleeping, so no mic for me.

GG Willhouse. I thought I was going to blow it at the end. After watching the replay, I got hosed on that fumble TD, it looked like my QB's arm was going forward. And then you totally got hosed on the holding call, which pushed you back to 4th and long instead of 1st and goal. Great game, I need to change my shirt, I was sweating that entire 4th quarter.

Grats Kush. You put an end to WMU's winning streak!

After taking the night to be disgusted by my teams play it was a good game. Perhaps if my team had shown up to play in the first half and didn't drop passes it may have gone the other way.

Iowa takes down CMU in a shootout for the ages, 59-49. Radcliff makes a statement in the loss by throwing for 621 yards and 5 TDs.

CSU beat Toledo, 24-21, on a FG as time expired. I could probably have beaten them by a TD, but got conservative and decided to run out the clock. This drops Toledo to 5-2.

I thought for awhile you folks would have to thank me, as CSU knocked Toledo's starting QB out for 5 weeks. However, their back-up was a better thrower and MUCH better scrambler. Good luck with that. He managed some crazy 3rd and long conversions, including one in which he was sacked and fumbled the ball...only to have the HB pick it up and run for 18 yards while bouncing off tacklers. Ugh.

CSU played well, but my offense sputtered a bit in the second half. Glad to pull out the win, though. This brings me to 3-3 and breathes a bit of life back into my season after a rough first half.
