NCAA12 GWJ2STAR - Season 3 -WEEK 3 - Deadline 6/30

Leroy it will have to be tomorrow night or Sunday night. Heading to NO for 3 days.

Lets shoot for tomorrow night. Thursdays are hit or miss because we usually do trivia unless something comes up. I will keep you posted.

I'm hoping to get on tonight, so much to do.

Western gets another win over a D-1 team as the Golden Gophers are dropped 28-10

Temple lost to Pittsburgh 38-24 in the Owls' home-opener last week. Pittsburgh jumped out to a 31-0 halftime lead, and didn't look back. Temple did make this a ball game in the 2nd half, holding the Panthers to a kickoff return TD in the 2nd half. Temple got the ball back with 1:18, down by 14, but their final drive stalled inside the red zone.

If you get on tonight and have the time, hit me up. I should be around

lol, my phone is awesome

Another classic game between Bill and myself. Rice wins with a FG as time expires. Great game.

I'm last man standing (around and doing nothing), I will try to get my game played tonight.

FYI, Shag and I are doing Tough Mudder this Saturday, so I will not be able to do anything in either league until Sunday earliest (after tonight, that is).

I'll be lucky if I can still hold a controller after Saturday

Temple shuts down Western Kentucky 14-0 at Lincoln Financial Field this morning. Entering the 4th quarter in a scoreless game, Matt Brown helped lead the Owls to the WKU 3 yard line, where he churned his way into the endzone for a score. WKU followed with a huge drive of their own, but elected to go for it on 4th and 2, and the Temple defense held the line and made the stop. Temple then ate up a chunk of time, and managed to put another TD on the board on a Mike Girardi pass to mold the final score.

BTW, I can hold a controller, but I am HURTING today. Needless to say, we both made it through the entire course.

CSU beats Utah St., 34-17. The game was closer than it looked. I was up by only 3 with about a minute left...but I was on the 10 yard line going in. My back broke free, and I just decided to score and take the glory. After that I forced them to a 4-and-out which gave me the ball at the 13 yard line. I was a jerk and passed for a score with 0:01 left...wouldn't do it to you guys, but the CPU doesn't deserve my kindness.

The play that probably won the game for me, putting me up 17-7 at the half was a 50+ yard bomb for a TD as time expired in the first half. I tried to give it a lot of loft to get over the defense, as I had a guy breaking free...but it ended up being caught by another receiver!! My QB led the WR so much it ended up in the hands of a hulking TE at the 2 yard line, and he crashed into the endzone with defenders hanging on him.

This was the last game without my star HB. However, I lost one of my starting WRs for the season to broken vertebrae. Ouch. He was a senior, so his career is done...

Temple loses 25-18. On 3rd and 11, I called one defense about 3 seconds after I called a Timeout. The XBox gave me a completely different scheme, and I gave up the 1st down to pretty much end the game. BS. I can lose the damn game by myself, I don't need the XBox's help.

Western Michigan puts up 28 points in the 4th to come from behind and beat the Huskies 52-42. Until half time the game was close. After halftime the Huskies took control getting big runs for TDs and a fumble recovery for TD. The Huskies defense kept the air attack down getting multiple sacks and early in the 4th knocking out my starting QB. My back up came in and on hi at first play threw a strike for a long TD. Next drive another quick on getting a TD catch from the full back. Then with 52 seconds left a dart in the back of the end zone between 3 defenders to the tight end in the back.of the end zone for the go ahead score. Didn't get a chance sadly to upload highlights since I had to leave. But there maybe a Qb change coming soon.

Marshall had a scare going there. Went down 13-0 early in the second quarter. It seemed the loss of Marshalls best pass rusher in tandem with the loss of the best cover corner left the Defense wondering what to do. The dismal woes carried over to Offense with Cato throwing 0 completions on 9 attempts. Things did not look good, but when Ward pulled off a nice 3rd down run for the first, it seemed to be the spark Marshall needed. The end result? 6 sacks and a score of 49-20

By the way, CSU's kicker/punter booted a 57 yard field goal in my game against Utah State...it would have been good from 60! It's gonna' be a sad day when he graduates.

Hot damn, that was a fast week. All human vs human games. Whats the word Zell?

Man...just finished with a hvh match...lol...um..I can play Wednesday night I think. 10pm. I only ask that you beat me gently...I dont have many starters left to actually start. Apparently Marshall has an all hot nurse medical staff...my players spend more time with them than on the field.

Willhouse and I played our game...it was a bit ugly. Hard to win when you give up *3* TDs on runbacks following turnovers.

I started off with a great defensive stand to open the game, but then threw a pick-6 on my second play from scrimmage. The kickoff return that immediately followed resulted in a fumble + return for a TD.

However, my defense played well, holding Western Michigan to 139 total yards and getting 2 turnovers. However, that didn't matter too much given that I gave up *5* turnovers. On the two fumbles I was jamming the DON'T FUMBLE YOU IDIOT!!! button.

I had a chance (sort of) to be in it late in the game, but gave up a >95 yard TD return for a TD when I just didn't see a defender down near the endzone.

Nice game, Willhouse. It was not one I'd like to repeat anytime soon...

Western barley gets by CSU 35-17. Don't let the score fool you until the last 2 minuets this was a close game. CSU's defense showed up to play keeping Drake contained all game only rushing for 40 yards on 11 carries and Western's starting QB going 2-9 24 yards. At the half Coach Owen decided to make a change at QB after his 3 TD drives in the 4th Perish was put in a QB going 6-8 for 72 yards and one pick. It wasn't until a late pick with CSU driving that Western was able to go ahead on Field's 15 yard score. But on the next drive it seemed CSU would score with time left until the Western defense got a pick 6 that went 95 yards. This game was turnover city.

It was a crazy game. Could have been a few more turnovers if my team had decided to I don't pick up the ball at their feet.

Kush I'm available anytime this week between 8pm-midnight est. Also can play during the day if you give me a time.

I'll get back to you. I will probably say that tonight is out, but Wednesday is probably good at 8:30pm. I will probably continue to play vs you guys sans mic, even though the baby will sleep through me talking. I will start using a mic again pretty soon though.

By the way, willhouse – the funniest moment last night was when my QB threw a crazy off target pass that hit your MLB right in the facemask. He was standing on the goal line and didn't even react to being hit square in the face!

Sounds good Zell, tomorrow around 10pm EST
